Mr. J. JOHN NEWMAN Most of Mr. Newman’s interesting professional career has been spent in the broadcasting industry. After serving with the National Broad­ casting Company in New York, he was named Chief of the Armed Forces Radio Service in the Far East during the Korean War. Later he was the manager of a radio station in California. Mr. Newman also served as Informa­ tion Advisor to the Military Go­ vernors of Korea and the Ryukyu Islands. He is a member of the Overseas Press Club of America and a Lt. Col. in the U. S. Air Force Reserve. Currently he is Director of Radio Liberty in Spain, a privately owned and operated organization which broadcasts to the different coun­ tries of the Soviet Union.
