Child Care & Development Fund Program:

The Child Care and Development Fund was the recipient of

ARRA Stimulus funds that are being utilized to enhance quality

of care and availability to our child care families. A new

security system is being installed in the Wyandotte Nation

Education Center through the stimulus funds. Tribal Scholarships: The Scholarship Program is full to capacity! Grades will be

scholarships will be increased to $1,250.00 a semester

beginning with the spring semester of 2010.

On October 1, 2009, Carla Culver, Education Director,

attended a dorm dedication and smoking ceremony for the

Poloke-Bosen Hall which houses Native American students. The

Wyandotte Nation received the invitation on behalf of Kenny

Glass a student at Bacone College in Muskogee. Kenny was an

intern for the Nation during the summers 2008 and 2009.
