Perfezione, armonia nelle proporzioni e sapore di lusso understated sono il segno di riconoscimento di Living Divani, dinamica e vivace azienda a conduzione familiare che ha fatto dell’imbottito il suo trademark. Nata nei primi anni ‘70, l’azienda ha tracciato nel tempo un percorso preciso, instaurando un intenso dialogo con la contemporaneità e diventando uno dei punti di riferimento nel panorama del design. Strategica è la colla- borazione con Piero Lissoni che dal 1988, nel duplice ruolo di art director e designer, ne orchestra lo stile unico: linee essenziali unite a funzionalità e confort, in accordo con una contemporaneità attenta ai mutamenti e aperta alla internazionalizzazione. Ad affiancare l’architetto Piero Lissoni, negli anni sono stati coinvolti sia designer dal calibro internazionale, che con l’azienda condividono il tratto e l’approccio progettuale, così come sono stati inseriti a collezione progetti di giovani talenti giunti all’azienda attraverso un puntuale lavoro di talent scouting tra le nuove leve del design: visioni differenti che sebbene uniche nelle loro individualità, hanno lo stesso comune denominatore, il tema dell’armonia e della “delicatezza” delle forme, l’elogio alla linearità, la pulizia formale. E’ stata così creata un’articolata offerta di divani, poltrone, letti e complementi; un graduale processo creativo e produttivo, per arrivare ad un ambiente living completo, che ruota intorno al sistema imbottito, sia esso da indoor o outdoor, dalle forme e volumetrie discrete, intorno a cui sono proposti dei complementi dal segno più forte - sedie, poltroncine, tavoli, tavolini, librerie, contenitori e tappeti - che si adattano e definiscono ogni ambiente, da quelli più essenziali e rigorosi a quelli più eclettici e decorativi. Importante riconoscimento del percorso di eccellenza di Living Divani è l’ingresso nel 2012 in Altagamma, la fondazione che riunisce le imprese italiane di reputazione internazionale che operano nella fascia più alta di mercato divulgando la cultura e lo stile italiano sia nella gestione d’impresa che nel prodotto, distinguendosi per innovazione, qualità, servizio, design e prestigio.

Perfect, harmonious proportions and a feeling of understated luxury: these are the distinguishing features of Living Divani, the dynamic and vibrant family-owned Company, that has made its trademark of upholstery. Born in the early 1970s, the Company has followed a clear path, maintaining an intensive dialogue with the contemporary world and becoming one of the landmarks in the design landscape. Strategic is the alliance with Piero Lissoni: since 1988, in his dual role as art director and designer, he has led the firm’s unique style made of discretion and formal neutrality, lightness and dynamism. A calibrated design that combines clean lines with functionality and comfort, according to a contemporary world attentive to changes and open to internationalization. Together with the architect Piero Lissoni, over the years the Company has gradually involved both designers of international caliber, who all share the Company’s style and approach to design, as well as projects of young talents, discovered through a work of talent scouting among the new generation of design: different visions that although in their unique individuality, have the same common denominator, the harmony and the “delicacy” of forms, praising to the linearity and the formal neatness. It was thus created a vast and varied offer of sofas, armchairs, beds and complements: a gradual process of creation of a complete living environment, which revolves around the upholstery system, both for indoor and outdoor, with its subtle shapes and proportions, to combine with characterful complements - seats, small armchairs, tables, bookcases, storage unit and carpets - that will suit and define any setting, from the essential and rigorous to the multifarious and eclectic décor. Significant acknowledgement of the path of excellence of Living Divani its the entry in 2012 in Altagamma, the foundation that gathers Italian companies of international repute, which operate at the top end of the market expressing the Italian culture and style both in the business model and the product, renowned for innovation, quality, service, design and prestige.

La proposta di Living Divani si orienta perfettamente verso il settore contract dove qualità, performance tecniche e possibilità di customizzazione fanno sì che l’azienda sia già presente a livello mondiale in tutti i settori: uffici, banche, aeroporti, hotel, spazi di attesa, musei, ristoranti e showroom. Dal progetto preliminare all’eventuale prototipizzazione fino alla realizzazione del prodotto finito, l’idea iniziale del committente diventa realtà grazie all’expertise di Living Divani, che mette a disposizione del cliente un ricco catalogo tra cui scegliere e la capacità di sviluppare soluzioni innovative in termini di ricerca formale e materica. L’azienda svolge al proprio interno sia la fase creativa che la scelta delle pelli e dei tessuti, il taglio, il cucito, l’assemblaggio e il montaggio, con un approccio quasi artigianale al progetto di arredo che dà valore e impreziosisce ogni realizzazione. La gestione dell’intero processo attraverso servizi integrati, che includono anche le fasi di montaggio e l’assistenza postvendita, pone Living Divani come partner nella realizzazione di progetti d’arredo complessi.

The Living Divani collection is conceived as well for the Contract sector, where quality, technical performances and custom-made solutions qualify the Company to be globally active in different fields: offices, banks, airports, hotels, waiting areas, museums, restaurants and showrooms. From the preliminary project to the prototyping process up to the finished product, the initial idea of the client becomes reality thanks to the expertise of Living Divani, that provides to the customer a rich catalogue to choose from and the capability to develop innovative solutions in terms of formal and material research. The Company carries out the creative phase and the choice of leather and fabrics, cutting, sewing and assembly, with an almost artisanal approach to the furnishing project that gives value and embellishes every single creation. The management of the process through an integrated service, including the assembly phases and after-sales assistance, places Living Divani as a partner in the realization of complex furniture projects.

Imbottiti in serie di grande versatilità ed adattabilità, che sorprendono per le molteplici possibilità di combinazioni e rivestimenti, come i divani Extrasoft e Ile Club, le poltrone e sedie Chauffeuse, Confident e Maja D e i tavolini Ile Table e Starsky, scelti per creare un ambiente informale e confortevole nel ristorante Filippo La Mantia- Oste e Cuoco a Milano. La personalizzazione di prodotti a catalogo, per rispondere in modo più puntuale alle esigenze di uno specifico progetto, come il fluire di prodotti Living Divani, personalizzati nelle dimensioni, nella sala ricevimenti, nello spazio SPA e Hammam, nello scenografico rooftop bar con terrazza e nelle 130 camere e suites del Roomers Hotel a Baden Baden. Infine la possibilità di sviluppare soluzioni su misura in termini di ricerca formale e materica, sempre nel segno dell’eccellenza del design che contraddistingue ogni creazione del marchio, come Dr Smood progettato da David Lopez Quincoces.

The flexible internal structure guarantees quick response ability and streamlined management of the planning and logistics phase, which are essential in this area, in which Living Divani becomes the leader through 3 different supply possibilities. Upholstered in a series characterized by great versatility and adaptability, which surprise with various possibilities of combinations and finishes, such as the sofas Extrasoft and Ile Club, the armchairs and chairs Chauffeuse, Confident and Maja D and the tables Ile Table and Starsky, chosen to create a casual and comfortable environment in the restaurant Filippo La Mantia - Oste and Cuoco in Milan. The customization of catalogue products, in order to meet the needs of a specific project, such as the flow of Living Divani products, custo - mized in terms of sizes, in the reception hall, SPA and Hammam, in the spectacular rooftop terrace bar and in the 130 rooms and suites at the Roomers Hotel in Baden Baden. Finally, the possibility to develop customized solutions in terms of formal and material research, always in the excellence of design that marks every creation of the brand, such as the Dr Smood designed by David Lopez Quincoces.

I prodotti della collezione Living Divani sono frutto del perfetto equilibrio tra innovazione tecnologica, capacità artigianale, produzione industriale ed expertise manuale. Dedizione, esperienza e un rapporto privilegiato con forme e materia permettono all’azienda di gestire perfettamente le complessità di ogni realizzazione, in un processo di costante dialogo tra la fase creativa e la realizzazione. Personale specializzato e attrezzature tecniche permettono di risolvere ogni problematica legata alla produzione; ogni fase è inoltre seguita da controlli accurati, a garanzia dell’elevata qualità di ogni creazione Living Divani. I tessuti e le pelli selezionati tra i più prestigiosi marchi sul mercato vengono meticolosamente esaminati per eliminare eventuali imperfezioni, prima di essere avviati alle operazioni di taglio. Al fine di garantire la perfetta uniformità, i tessuti vengono tagliati tramite un sistema informatico mentre le pelli a mano. Raggruppati per singolo prodotto, i tagli vengono poi inviati al reparto cucito, dove le rifiniture, sempre diverse ma ogni volta preziose e accurate, raccontano l’“esperienza nelle mani” di Living Divani. Nel reparto di assemblaggio il prodotto assume la sua configurazione definitiva prima di un ultimo meticoloso controllo che lo conduce successivamente al settore spedizioni. Ad ogni prodotto viene allegata la garanzia con tutte le informazioni e i consigli per la cura e manutenzione, per mantenere intatta la bellezza di ogni creazione.

The products included in the Living Divani’s catalogue are the result of the perfect balance between technical innovation and craft skills, industrial production and manual expertise. Dedication, experience and a unique relation with shapes and materials, allow the brand to seamlessly manage all production complexities, through a constant dialogue between the creative and the executive production stages. Highly qualified staff and state of the art equipment give to the Company the possibility to find solutions to all production-related issues. Every step of the production process is followed by thorough tests, to ensure the superior quality of all Living Divani creations. Fabrics and leather are meticulously selected to avoid any imperfections before the cutting stage. In order to guarantee a perfect uniformity of results, a computerized system is used for cutting the fabrics while the leather is cut by hand. Cuts, grouped by product, are sent to the sewing department where the refinement, always different yet fine and accurate, are testimony of Living Divani’s manufacturing experience. In the assembling department, pieces do assume their definitive shape and undergo one last meticulous check-up, before being sent to the dispatch area. A warranty is enclosed with each product and includes all information and advices on care and maintenance, in order to preserve the beauty of each creation.

Finiture sofisticate come StoneOak®, essenza di origine naturale dalla superficie esclusiva simile nell’aspetto ad una pietra, che deriva da tronchi scivolati sotto terra tra diversi strati di argilla e tornati alla luce carichi di una nuova unica bellezza, e le morbide pelli Zero Impact, che valorizzano la sostenibilità ecologica grazie ad un processo produttivo in cui viene raggiunta la totale compensazione delle emissioni di gas serra. Sophisticated finishes such as StoneOak®- a natural material with a unique surface whose texture and colors resemble the ones of a stone, made from logs slipped beneath the ground under layers of clay and brought back to light endowed with new, unique beauty - and the soft “Zero Impact” sustainable leather which emphasize the ecological sustainability thanks to a production process that offers total compensation of CO2 through a program of reforestation of different areas, according to transparent criteria. Living Divani completa gli spazi con le proprie proposte nel segno di quell’eleganza sofisticata che da sempre la distingue. Si parte dalla lobby, che accoglie il divano Lipp, l’omonima panca presentata con struttura più alta rispetto a quella di serie, la poltrona Chauffeuse e le poltrone Confident. Nello stesso ambiente anche il tavolino Starsky con delicato motivo decorativo di essenze e la panca Track essenziale nelle forme ampie e regolari. Anche il ristorante asiatico Moriki sceglie il sapore di lusso understated Living Divani. Intorno ai tavoli si alternano le poltroncine Confident e le sedute Maja D rivestite con un elegante vestina, che arredano anche la sala ricevimenti con le loro linee semplici ma estremamente raffinate. All’insegna del più assoluto relax, lo spazio dedicato alla SPA e all’Hammam è completato dai daybed Ile Club e dalle Frog Lounge, apripista delle sedute basse e larghe e di un nuovo modo di vivere più rilassato. Le luminose camere da letto offrono il massimo comfort proponendo a loro volta i divani Rod e le poltroncine ABC dal gusto classico. Nel rooftop bar all’ultimo piano dell’hotel, un’ampia composizione di divani Rod System crea una zona di conversazione dove godere della vista su tutta la città e sul Kurpark, accompagnata dai tavolini Starsky. Nella zona eventi e meeting che si apre sul patio, creano una zona conversazione i divani Filo Outdoor in dimensioni custom, le poltroncine Café e i tavolini Starsky. Nell’ampia terrazza che ospita il lounge bar con giardino, la piscina a sfioro e il solarium, dominano le poltrone Frog ed il comfort soffice delle composizioni Extra Wall, completate da panche e basi personalizzate.

Living Divani completes the spaces with its own proposals in the sign of sophisticated elegance that has always distinguished it. Starting from the lobby featuring the sofa Lipp, the bench Lipp presented with higher than standard structure, the armchair Chauffeuse and the armchairs Confident. The same area also features the table Starsky with delicate decorative motif of essences and the essential bench Track. The Moriki Asian restaurant also chooses the Living Divani understated sense of luxury. Around the tables alternate the armchairs Confident and the chairs Maja D with housse, which also decorate the reception hall with their simple but extremely refined lines. With a view to utmost relaxation, the space dedicated to the SPA and Hammam is completed by the daybeds Ile Club and the Frog Lounge, forerunner of low and wide seating and of a new way of living more relaxed. The bright bedrooms offer maximum comfort by offering in turn the sofas Rod and the classic armchairs ABC. In the rooftop bar on the top floor of the hotel, a large composition of sofas Rod System creates a conversation area, enjoying the view over the entire city and the Kurpark, accompanied by the tables Starsky. In the event and meeting area that opens onto the patio, a conversation area is created by the sofas Filo Outdoor in custom sizes, the armchairs Café and the tables Starsky. Finally, in the large lounge bar terrace with garden, infinity pool and sun terrace, the precious armchairs Frog and the soft comfort of the compositions Extra Wall dominate, completed with benches and customized basis.

L’ambiente, confortevole e rilassato, sceglie per l’area cafè e la zona boutique i prodotti Living Divani: sedute informali ma eleganti degli sgabelli Nina, in uno stile al contempo minimale e decorativo, e i tavolini Starsky contraddistinti da delicati motivi ornamentali che impreziosiscono, con la loro presenza, l’atmosfera di questa moderna boutique organica disegnata per offrire il massimo comfort ed un sano stile di vita.

An innovative boutique-café, where passion and determination are key to offering delicious and healthy organic food. Dr Smood interior space concept is inspired by Quincoces- Dragó & Partners: a modern interpretation of an old pharmacy shops that focusses on the organic characteristics of the food served, which contains no preservatives, a “new medicine for the body”. The comfortable and relaxed atmosphere of the coffee area features Living Divani’s creations: informal yet elegant seats with Nina stools, boast a minimal but decorative style; tables Starsky, defined by discreet ornamental motifs, add beauty to the atmosphere of this organic boutique designed to offer maximum comfort and a healthy lifestyle.

FILIPPO LA MANTIA – OSTE E CUOCO (I)

In Piazza Risorgimento a Milano, il ristorante Filippo La Mantia - Oste e Cuoco progettato da Lissoni Architettura Milano è un omaggio alla Sicilia, terra natia del celebre chef. Disposto su due piani per una superfice complessiva di 1 .800 mq, il ristorante del cuoco palermitano si distingue per la cura degli arredi e dell’illuminazione: le sofisticate proposte a catalogo Living Divani, alternate a fotografie, strumenti musicali, motociclette e ceramiche siciliane, sono state accuratamente selezionate per dare vita ad uno spazio di tendenza e allo stesso tempo accogliente come una a casa, impreziosito da tocchi di colore e da classici di design. All’ingresso, trasporta i clienti in un’atmosfera allegra e rilassata il divano Lipp, esemplare reinterpretazione contemporanea della lavorazione capitonné. Per i momenti di attesa, nella hall al primo piano sono pensati un’ampia composizione geometrica Extrasoft, dalle sedute regolari accostate l’una all’altra, e il divano Ile Club, un invito al relax con i suoi volumi sospesi, pieni e soffici. Molteplici sedute corredano lo spazio del ristorante, animandolo con le loro forme e colori che spaziano dal giallo limone alle note del marrone, fino al bordeaux. Chauffeuse, la “poltrona per eccellenza” confortevole, ampia e rassicurante, figura accanto a Confident, dalle linee arrotondate ad avvolgenti, e all’aggraziata Maja D nella variante con vestina. Complementi e tavolini sono finemente ripartiti: cattura lo sguardo la forma leggera e sofisticata del tavolino Ile Table con struttura in metallo, e il delicato motivo decorativo di essenze unite tramite intarsio del tavolino Starsky che ricrea giochi cromatici dal chiaro allo scuro all’insegna della massima naturalità.

In Piazza Risorgimento in Milan, the restaurant Filippo la Mantia - Oste e Cuoco, designed by Lissoni Architettura Milan, is a tribute to Sicily, the birthplace of the famous chef. On two floors with a total area of 1,800 square meters, the Palermo chef-owned restaurant stands out for the care of furnishings and lighting: the sophisticated proposals from the Living Divani catalogue, alternating with photographs, musical instruments, motor-cycles and Sicilian ceramics were carefully selected to give life to a trendy space and at the same time welcoming like a home, embellished with touches of colour and design classics. At the entrance, the sofa Lipp transports customers into a convivial and relaxed atmosphere, exemplary contemporary reinterpretation of tufted workmanship. For waiting moments, in the lobby on the first floor is an ample Extrasoft geometric composition, with regular seating juxtaposed to one another, and the sofa Ile Club, an invitation to relax with its suspended, full and soft volumes. Multiple seating arrangements accompany the space of the restaurant, animating it with their shapes and colours ranging from lemon yellow to brown notes, up to burgundy. Chauffeuse, the “armchair par excellence” comfortable, large and reassuring, is positioned next to Confident, with rounded and enveloping lines, and the graceful Maja D in the version with housse. Complements and tables are finely divided: the eye-catching light and sophisticated form of the table Ile Table with metal structure, and the delicate decorative motif of essences combined with inlay of the table Starsky that recreates arrays of colour from light to dark with the utmost naturalness.
