Danubio3 1 Department of Animal and Human Biology, University »La Sapienza«, Rome, Italy 2 Department of Methods, Economics and Territory, University of Teramo, Teramo, Italy 3 Department of Environmental Studies, University of L'Aquila, L'Aquila, Italy ABSTRACT The seasonality of 27,705 marriages celebrated in a four century span in the Province of Teramo (Abruzzo, Italy) was analyzed to identify the presence of a long-term pattern re- lated to the prevailing subsistence activity and the main factors affecting it. The results show general agreement in all centuries with the agricultural patterns of other lowland or south-central Italian groups (Piedmont, Veneto, Liguria, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Latium, Campania, Apulia) and Mediterranean regions (Spain, France), although with some differences. Religious factors strongly affected the timing of marriage only during Lent. Of interest is the progressive increase through the centuries of marriages in the summer-autumn months, associated with a decrease in January and February. This suggests the passage from a summer migration system to a rural sedentary system with occasional seasonal work. Introduction tionship between the population and its environment5,6. 12. 8 . 91 Official Journal of the European Communities No L 223/ 1 I (Acts whose publication is obligatory) COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2396/91 of 29 July 1991 fixing for the 1990/91 marketing year the yields of olives and olive oil THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Management Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Committee for Oils and Fats, Economic Community, Having regard to Council Regulation No 136/66/EEC of 22 September 1966 on the establishment of a common HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : organization of the market in oils and fats ('), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1720/91 (2) ; Article 1 Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2261 /84 of 17 July 1984 laying down general rules on the granting 1 . For the 1990/91 marketing year, yields of olives and of aid for the production of olive oil and of aid to olive oil olive oil and the relevant production zones shall be as producer organizations (3), as last amended by Regulation specified in Annex I hereto . (EEC) No 3500/90 (4), and in particular Article 19 thereof, 2. The production zones are defined in Annex II . GIULIANOVA Lido (Te)
GIULIANOVA Lido (Te) Its territory covers 27 square kilometers, including the natural boundaries formed by the Salinello River, to the north, and the Tordino, to the south. To the west it borders with the town of Mosciano Sant'Angelo, to the south with Roseto degli Abruzzi, to the north with Tortoreto and to the east by the Adriatic Sea. The town is divided into two main areas welded together in recent decades: Giulianova properly speaking, also known as Giulianova Paese or Giulianova Alta, and Giulianova Lido or Giulianova Spiaggia (beach). The first includes the historic center and stretches up a hill of modest height (68 m. above sea level) about one kilometer from the coastline, while the Lido is made up of the most modern and touristic area, which developed during the twentieth century on the shores of the Adriatic. Giulianova can also show off, in addition to its monumental Promenade, a traditional fishing port and tourist center, one of the four in Abruzzo, and in its oldest part, Giulianova Paese, some monuments of a certain historical and cultural significance such as the Renaissance Duomo San Flaviano, which with its huge dome dominates the city, the cinquentesca Church of St. Anthony and that of Sant'Anna, the family chapel of the Bartolomei and the tower keep known as "the White", last remnant of the wall built in Middle Ages to defend the town. Also in the immediate vicinity it offers the opportunity to enjoy the hilly landscape, amidst the warm colors of welcoming olive groves and vineyards, visiting medieval towns and villages, and discovering the art and folklore of this piece of Abruzzo. -

Cities call for a more sustainable and equitable European future An open letter to the European Council and its Member States Tuesday 30th April 2019, President of the European Council, Heads of States and Governments of the European Union Member States, We, the undersigned mayors and heads of local governments have come together to urge the Heads of States and Governments of the Member States to commit the European Union (EU) and all European institutions to a long-term climate strategy with the objective of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050 – when they meet at the Future of Europe conference in Sibiu, Romania on 9 May, 2019. The urgency of the climate crisis requires immediate action, stepping up our climate ambition and pursuing every effort to keep global temperature rise below 1.5C by mid-century, as evidenced by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5C. Current energy and climate policies in place globally, set the planet on a global warming pathway of 3°C. We are reminded of the inadequacy of our response to climate change, by the thousands of young people demonstrating each week on the streets of European cities - and around the world. We cannot let the status quo jeopardise their future and those of millions of European citizens. We owe it to the next generation to make more ambitious commitments to address climate change at all levels of government and in every aspect of European policy-making. We acknowledge and support the positions of the European Parliament and of the Commission to pursue net-zero emissions as the only viable option for the future of Europe and the world. -

Sul territorio 72 aree sosta 20:44 02 luglio 2020- NEWS - Redazione ANSA - PESCARA (ANSA) - PESCARA, 26 GIU - Vacanze all'aria aperta nell'agenda di tanti italiani quest'anno; a disposizione oltre 2.600 campeggi, corrispondenti a 70 di presenze e 5 milioni di fatturato annuo. L'Abruzzo può contare su 37 strutture fra campeggi e villaggi turistici a cui vanno aggiunti 18 agricampeggi e aree di sosta per camper, 12 delle quali presso aree di servizio lungo le autostrade A14, A24 e A25. In questa ottica il Dipartimento Turismo della Regio avviato, già da qualche mese, la messa a sistema dell'offerta turistica nella fase 3 del periodo post Covid-19. E in Consiglio regionale è in discussione il "Norme in materia di Turismo Itinerante" che prevede contributi fino a 15mila euro per i Comuni che istituiranno aree sosta camper: superato ieri l'esam Terza Commissione, sarà all'ordine del giorno della prossima assemblea. Parallelamente occorre ricordare l'Ordinanza del 23 maggio 2019 n. 77 della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri riguardante le "Procedure per l'individuazione, la realizzazione e la fruizione di aree attrezzate per finalità turistiche nei territori delle Regioni Abruzzo, Lazio, Marche e Umbria colp dagli eventi sismici del 24 agosto 2016", testo che stabilisce "criteri per la ripartizione delle risorse e modalità di accesso ai contributi"; all'Abruzzo spet milione di euro. -
