RULES FOR ALL DOS MINYANIM APPROVED BY THE BOARD ON11/12/20 1. Priorty for attendance will be asigned to DOS members or family members residing in Florida. We will allow non-members if space is available, as long as we get their names and phone numbers in order to send an email with a link to our signup genius system, and they have a signed waiver on file. 2. Pre-registeration for all minyanim each week is essential. The registration process will be through the Signupgenius.com,our electronic signup system, sent out to all members every Wednesday. A. Signup will be open from Wednesday until midnight Thursday of the current week for all Minyanim you wish to attend from Mincha-Maariv Friday of the current week to Shacharit Friday of the following week. B. Signup is for one week at a time. The signup link has links to both the waiver and the most current rules for attendance. Affixing your name and email to the registration will constitute your agreement to follow all of the rules in those in those linked documents. C. Please call David Lazar if you do not use a computer, cell phone, or tablet, and need help with electronic registration. They can enter your registration on your behalf. If you don’t register yourself, you need to have a previously signed waiver on file with David Heyden or Rabbi Saunders. D. Any person not registered for a particular service will not be permitted to attend. 3. There will be no attendance without a current signup and waiver. An exception may be made for a member in emergency situation to enter the , by an officer, a director or the Rabbi attending the minyan. A waiver must still be signed and on record, prior to entering the Shul. 4. Any member who has traveled interstate must observe a 14 day waiting period or after 3 - 4 days present in Florida may take a Covid-19 test and if negative will be permitted to attend our services. This rule is to protect the vast majority of our members who are over 65, and are at greater risk of serious complications if they should become infected. 5.Anyone requiring an aide inside the Synagogue may not attend. 6. No children under 12 will be allowed to attend any of the services. Any child over 12 must remain in their seats accompanied by their parent. 7. Temperature will be taken at the door prior to entry, maximum temperature is 99 degrees. Any person with a cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat should not come to shul. If you do you will be turned away at the door. No exceptions. 8. Masks must be covering your nose and mouth before opening the door to enter DOS. Masks must remain in place over nose and mouth at all times while paticipating in any Minmyan or meeting. 9. Attendees must sanitize their hands as they enter and before they depart the Shul. 10. Attendees must bring their own Kippah and Tallis and Teffilin. Davening without a Tallis will be permitted. There will be noTallis or Teffilin available in shul to use. 11. Rules for the Bimah when the is read: A. The area around the Bimah is considered a place of increased risk, therefore there can be no exception to social distancing. B. The person who reads from the Torah will remove and return the Torah to the Aron Kodesh, and perform Hagba and Gelilah. C. Those called up to the Torah for an Aliya will not kiss the Torah and will stand in the designated floor spot, properly distanced behind and to the right of the Torah reader. D. There will be no Torah procession and the Torah reader will be the only person permitted to touch the Sefer Torah.

12. We advise all members participating in a Minyan to bring their own Siddur and Chumash. Siddurim and Chumashim will be provided by the Shul and should be placed in appropriate day box in the kiddush room after each service and may not be used for 1 week. If you will attend more than one minyan per day please place you siddur and chumash on your labeled designated chair and after the last service place in designated dated box. Attendees must sanitize their hands before and after touching of the shul siddur, chumash, bathroom door or chair. 13. Attendees must sit in the same labeled chair at each Minyan you attend if at all possible. Seating is 10 Ft. apart. Do not move the chairs for any reason. 14. Only the 2 single occupant bathrooms will be available, both for men and women. Only one person at a time in a bathroom. Please clean and sanitize your bathroom with chemicals provided after use. Wash and clean up before you leave and use the hand sanitizer outside each bathroom upon entering and leaving. 15. ATTENDEES MUST SOCIAL DISTANCE AT ALL TIME. Do not walk over to a fellow attendee at any time before, during or after minyan. Maintain the 10 Ft. separation at all times while in shul. 16. Adults over the age of 65 – this group has shown to have the most serious outcomes if they are infected by the Covid- 19, so please consult your physician to make sure if they feel it’s prudent and advisable for you to attend . Your health and safety are paramount. 17. No kissing of mezuzot upon entering or leaving the Shul. There will be no Tzedakkah box used in the shul, however you may donate anytime on the DOS website.
