Externally

The cottage sits on the corner of two roads. It is the end property in a terrace. To the side of the property is a pathway which gives access to a small area of garden and is also a right of way to the rear of other houses in the terrace.

Almost opposite this access way is an area of off-road parking belonging to the cottage. There is room to park two or three cars on this area and probably enough room to build a garage if desired (and subject to consent).

About 200 yards along the road, the property owns two parcels of land. On one side there is about one acre of sloping grazing land.

On the other side of the road is an area of about 0.3 of an acre which is divided into two. The larger section is flat and would make an ideal sand school for anyone with a horse. The current owner uses it for a winter turnout. Equally, it would provide a place to site a poly-tunnel if desired

The smaller area is laid to grass but is very sheltered and could provide a good place to grow vegetables or keep chickens. The lane is quiet and it takes less than a minute to reach the land from the cottage by foot.

The property also owns an old stone barn sitting on its own plot, close to the cottage. This has had planning in the past for a house. Whilst this has lapsed, the owner would consider selling this along with the cottage, but by separate negotiation.
