Traffic data submitted by various domestic airlines has been analysed for the month of August 2016. Following are the salient features:
Passenger Growth
Passengers carried by domestic airlines during Jan-Aug 2016 were 644.68 lakhs as against 523.55 lakhs during the corresponding period of previous year thereby registering a growth of 23.14 % (Ref Table 1).
