Revised ACT management, restructured academic offerings and administrative operations to create fiscal independence . Coordinated the preparation and submission to the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), of the annual and 5year interim ACT accreditation reports . Initiated and led effort which resulted to ACT accreditation by the University of Wales . Supervised collaboration with ALBA to establish joint graduate programs and executive training programs in Northern Greece . Supported US study-abroad program to become one of largest in the Balkans . Established internal program to support ACT faculty research . Broadened ACT financial aid program to attract higher-achieving students at the Secondary and Elementary Schools . Conceived and directed the establishment of Anatolia’s elementary school . Introduced after-school activities in the K-12 schools . Coordinated English program K-12 evaluation, with resulting elevation of English from “foreign” language status to more interactive “second” language status . Introduced instruction of computers at Anatolia’s elementary school . Set up series of Special Education workshops for teachers and parents institutionally . (b) Marketing and Sales Manager Balkan Export S.A, largest lumber company in Greece at the time, and (c) General Manager, Hadjigeorgiou S.A. Tobacco Co. RESEARCH GRANTS 1979 – 1982 Authored grants and supervised funded scientific research in the field of bio-organic Chemistry during academic appointments in US universities: grants ranged from $50,000 to $300,000 and were in the field of bio- organic chemistry, including (a) National Institute of Health (NIH), Co-Principal Investigator (b) National Institute of Health (NIH), Principal Investigator (c) American Heart Association, Principal Investigator (d) Muscular Dystrophy Association of the USA, Principal Investigator PUBLICATIONS Authored more than 20 publications in major scientific publications, including .
