Box 4607, Houston, TX 77210-4607 CONTINENTAL AIRLINES STARTS NEW FLIGHTS TO MONCTON, NEW BRUNSWICK FROM NEW YORK First ever nonstop daily flight connects New York with Moncton; Continental’s ninth city served in Canada NEW YORK, May 2, 2006—Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL), today inaugurates the first ever nonstop flight between the airline’s New York hub at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and New Brunswick’s Greater Moncton International Airport (YQM). Moncton is the ninth city served in Canada by Continental Airlines. “This new nonstop flight gives travelers the most convenient service to New Brunswick,” said Zane Rowe, Continental’s vice president network strategy. “With Continental’s hub at Newark, the flight is timed to provide easy connections for travelers arriving from cities throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and Latin America.” The Newark/New York to Moncton schedule is as follows: Newark/New York-Moncton Moncton-Newark/New York Departure Arrival Departure Arrival 6:30 p.m. 9:34 p.m 6:35 a.m. 7:40 a.m. Continental Express, the regional carrier for Continental Airlines, is operating the new flight utilizing a 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 regional jet. Customers flying on the new service receive OnePass frequent flyer miles for every trip, online check-in up to 24 hours before departure and -more- CONTINENTAL AIRLINES STARTS NEW FLIGHTS TO MONCTON, NEW BRUNSWICK FROM NEW YORK/Page 2 automated self-service check-in at every airport Continental serves in the U.S. In addition, customers have the ability to book flights, check in, redeem frequent flyer awards and more at continental.com. Named “Top Canadian City for Business” by Canadian Business Magazine, Moncton currently lacks nonstop air service to the United States. Approximately 1.2 million people live within a two-hour drive of Moncton International Airport. New York is the largest market in the U.S. Eighty percent of New Brunswick’s trade is with New England and the northeastern United States. Continental’s Newark Liberty Service is the first ever nonstop operation between Moncton and New York. Continental Airlines is the world’s sixth-largest airline.
