Players, Coaches, and Equipment: Our JuniorHawks Clinic time is approximately 4 hours prior to the Blackhawks game time. The Blackhawks have a 7:30 start; therefore, we will start around 3:40 pm. Team members should arrive 40 minutes prior to JuniorHawks to have enough time to get suited-up for their game. Please arrive at UC loading dock no later than 3:00 pm. Additionally, we strongly encourage you to have your skaters partially dressed prior to entering the UC. Please plan accordingly for games that have an early start. JuniorHawks games will not be postponed due to heavy traffic or late arrivals. Only 3 coaches and 1 manager (4 total; no exceptions) per team will be allowed in the locker rooms and on the benches during the game. Parents will not be allowed in the locker room area. JuniorHawks Presented by Equipment, players, and coaches must be dropped off and will enter the United Center through the loading dock (the same entrance the Blackhawks players use). The loading dock entrance is located on Damen Avenue just south of Madison Street. Parents and family members are prohibited from staying in the loading dock area. Due to the heavy traffic of people in the loading dock area on a Blackhawks game-day, parents and family members cannot linger in the loading dock area while the skaters enter the United Center. ONLY players and coaches will be allowed to wait at the loading dock for the rest of their team. After the players and coaches have been dropped off at the loading dock, ALL cars need to be moved to Lot F. Lot F is located directly west of the loading dock across Damen Ave. Players and coaches MUST have their Blackhawks game ticket in hand as they enter through the loading dock. Individuals will not be admitted to the building without a ticket. We recommend writing your skater’s first and last name on the back larger portion of their tickets. We will designate a coach to collect the players’ tickets prior to going in through the loading dock. The smaller portion of the ticket stub will be collected upon entry and the larger portion returned to your skater. The Clinic: The Clinic will consist of an ADM-Style practice followed by small area games and a full ice scrimmage. Players will remain on the ice or their respective benches (they will not leave the ice once the clinic starts). Post-Clinic: The players will be escorted from the locker rooms up to the 100-level. Parents will meet their kids outside Section 114 – 115, and then directed to section 119 in front of the DiGiorno Pizza Stand. Additionally, if you would like to leave Lot F in your vehicle for any reason, you will need to get a reentry pass from the parking attendant.
