It also includes the LEGO BOOST Move Hub, the external motor and sensor that make this set unique! If you haven’t already done so, open your box. As you see in FIGURE 1-1, you’ll find 11 numbered bags, an extra bag of pieces, a white box holding the LEGO BOOST Move Hub, and the LEGO BOOST cardboard playmat. To program the LEGO BOOST Hub, you’ll need to download the LEGO BOOST app. The app allows you to code, or give your robot instructions in its own language. Download the LEGO BOOST app from the Google Play Store if you have an Android device, from the App Store if you own an Apple device, or from the Windows Store if you have a Windows 10 computer. YOUR LEGO BOOST CREATIVE TOOLBOX 5 LEGO provides a list of compatible devices at https://www.lego.com/en-us/ service/device-guide/BOOST/. Also, an ever-growing unofficial list of tested, com- patible iOS and Android devices is published by the Facebook Unofficial LEGO BOOST Community Group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/BOOSTcommunity/ ). how to use the brick separator The BOOST set includes a handy tool, the LEGO brick separator, which looks a little like a crowbar. You can use this tool to separate a plate from the top (A) or bottom (B) of another plate, to lift tiles by their groove (C), or to push pins and axle pins out of the holes and cross holes of gears (D) or bricks (E). AA D D CC E E BB let’s build a robot! Now that you’ve seen a preview of the elements of the LEGO BOOST set and installed the app to control your robots, let’s build a simple robot that moves so you can start exploring the world of robotics. 6 CHAPTER 1.

Contemporary straight-grained red morocco, front and rear boards with highly elaborate decorative tooled borders with larger tooled corner pieces to surround large central astral vignette com- posed of small astral tools, banded spine in 14 compartments with elaborate decorative tooling and gilt presentation, marbled endpapers, a.e.g. A remarkable complete set of excellent impressions of the rare series of plates illustrating the life of Charles I, here in a superlative decorative presentation binding of contemporary red morocco. This series, presented from a strongly sympathetic royalist perspective, depicts 10 tableaux from the life of Charles I, be- ginning with his marriage to Henrietta Maria of France in 1625 and concluding with his execution and, pace the title of the plate, his Apotheosis. Even if the images themselves did not stress the romantic tragedy, the engraved text beneath each - in English for a domestic and French for a continental audience - provides ample detail concerning the sufferings of the mis- understood, otherworldly and much put upon Royal Martyr. Bathos (pathos!) aside, the series in nevertheless a triumph of engraving, a superb example of pictorial biography and several of the plates are superlative masterpieces of invention.

Apple by the Numbers U.S. album releases From the collection of Andre Gardner of NY, NY SWBO‐101 The Beatles The Beatles Released: 22 Nov. 1968 (nicknamed "The White Album") In stark contrast to the cover to Sgt. Pepper's LHCB, the cover to this two record set was plain white, with writing only on the spine and in the upper right hand corner of the back cover (indicating that the album was in stereo). This was the first Beatles US album release which was not available in mono. The mono mix, available in the UK, Australia, and several other countries, sounds quite different from the stereo mix. The album title was embossed on the front cover. Inserts included a poster and four glossy pictures (one of each Beatle). The pictures were smaller in size than those issued with the UK album. A tissue paper separator was placed between the pictures and the record. Finally, as in every EMI country, the albums were numbered. In the USA, approximately 3,200,000 copies of the album were numbered. These albums were numbered at the different Capitol factories, and there are differences in the precise nature of the stamping used on the covers. Allegedly, twelve copies with east‐coast covers were made that number "A 0000001". (DK) Yoko Ono Transmission KUNSTHAL CHARLOTTENBORG 13 Okt 2017 – 18 Feb 2018 (BORD 1) Et udvalg af Yoko Onos tidlige værker. New York, Tokyo og Kyoto.

The result was a spectacular explosion of sparks. Whether or not that story is true, most experts agree that fireworks originated in China. The Chinese discovered that if the ingredients were put into a bamboo tube, the force of the reaction would send the tube zooming into the sky. The spectacular light and noise were perfect for celebrations. Traders carried the art of firework making westward to Europe. The Europeans added new colors to the bursts by mixing various chemicals into the explosive powder. Today, people all over the world use colorful fireworks to celebrate special occasions. Sam Feldman made lacquers for both sides on March 1, 1971. The A-side was incorrectly numbered 46492 (instead of 47492), and the B-side was incorrectly numbered 46493. His notes indicate that he sent the lacquers for stampers Z1 to Z4 of both sides to Capitol for Scranton, and to Canada. He made the lacquers for stampers Z5 to Z10 of both sides for the other three Capitol pressing plants. Apple likely instructed Feldman to re-EQ both sides, for on March 5th he did just that, with the result being that he made the lacquers for stampers Z11 to Z14, for Scranton (and Canada), and those numbered Z15 to Z20 for the other Capitol plants. The single was once again ready for pressing. Capitol Records sent ads to all three trade magazines, mentioning the B-side.
