E Yeah♥ e 18 r 44 D Advertisement Share this Post 1 Tweet 2 Share Embed Comment Redmin 08/02/2015 4:05 PM That's BC Miiverse got a makeover. E Yeah! e 1 D Courtnay 08/02/2015 5:08 PM ·Spoilers I kinda find it interesting that this is foreshadowing for much later. A friend brought this to my attention as well. That piece of metal looks a lot like Monado. He's reaching out for scrap metal, much like how he reached to shake Egil's hand when he was in his Mechon. He fell into the ground, like how he fell after being shot by Dickson, & the extra Shulk left behind is Zanza. So cool. lol E Yeah♥ e 3 D Courtnay 08/02/2015 5:10 PM Yeah, I'm gonna need a few of these posts before I finish with this game coz of the silly 100 limit. DX E Yeah... e 2 D Courtnay 08/02/2015 6:06 PM ·Spoilers I think I posted this in the other theory post, but I find it so ironic that Shulk's first instinct is to take the chest component off of Fiora, since it's Meyneth's Monado, & Zanza (who is inside Shulk) is trying to take it from her. He doesn't stop until he believes he's hurting Fiora, hinting at his own conscience overcoming Zanza's ill intentions. E Yeah♥ e 3 D Chelo 08/02/2015 6:34 PM In my opinion, that scene is about Shulk just being worried about Fiora's mechon body, because Zanza is suposed to be asleep inside Shulk, so, I don't think that Shulk grabbing that triangular device is related to Zanza and Meyneth. Also, Shulk saw the red light glowing from Fiora's chest in the previous scene, so he was probably worried about it. It's very cool how you describe it, though. E Yeah! e 1 D Nintendoer 08/02/2015 7:14 PM ·Spoilers Chelo, this game has hidden elements everywhere. What may seem like one thing actually turns out to be another, and that happens frequently. Shulk's "two voices" chat with Reyn? That's Zanza's influence. It's been there since the beginning, although it gets stronger as you go. He doesn't fully assert himself until Mechonis Core, of course, but in a more passive way before then, sure. I find... E Yeah! e 3 D Nintendoer 08/02/2015 7:17 PM ...most of Courtnay's assessments to be spot on with mine, and what has been discussed here so far is no exception. Oh, and uh, notifications. E Yeah♥ e 3 D Courtnay 08/02/2015 7:20 PM ·Spoilers I think Zanza was awakened after Shulk recieved Monado II, coz others can touch the sword w/o being zapped. Plus Shulk hears Zanza a lot more during this time & Zanza was the one zapping him at Mechonis Core. So he's awake, but the Apocrypha kinda limits his actions around this time. E Yeah♥ e 2 D MICHAEL 08/02/2015 8:38 PM ·Spoilers I'd forgotten about the zapping at Mechonis Core! That totally weirded me out! I couldn't figure why things had so suddenly changed! E Yeah! e 2 Chelo 08/03/2015 8:03 AM I love Xenoblade discussions!!! Cortnay you need to post more theories!! ......... [btw, sorry if I'm misunderstood... I'm not native english speaker] E Yeah! e 2 D Courtnay 08/03/2015 12:06 PM Oh it's ok, Xeno discussions are my favorite! XP That zapping scene bothered me as well. Shulk's VA did an AMAZING job coz his screams sounded so real. lol E Yeah! e 2 D Courtnay 08/05/2015 8:37 AM ·Spoilers I also wonder what sort of strength/power he used to get the Monado to reactivate despite the Apocrypha? He says he feels worse afterwards, so is it sapping the ether out of him like it did to Dunban? I also wonder how it effects Fiora/Meyneth & Alvis? Both of them use the Monado as some sort of a life force, but both continue on despite being hindered. E Yeah♥ e 1 D Courtnay 08/10/2015 3:43 PM ·Spoilers The youngest adult Machina is about 1800 years old. So Miqol had to be around 2000-2500 when Egil & Vanea were 'born'. Miqol is between 6000- 7000 years old, so the battle had to be less than 5000 years ago. Plus we'd have to assume Egil's age at the time, around 1800 years old, which drops it to 3200 years ago. This also verifies the High Entia Tomb, since it says 2512 yrs since the last visitor. E Yeah♥ e 2 D Eeee-Money 08/20/2015 10:30 AM Huh, how did I miss this discussion previously?! It's probably cuz you posted it while I was away, I guess... Anyways, I don't have much new to add; carry on! E Yeah!? e 2 Courtnay 08/20/2015 10:35 AM Took me a while to get those numbers. The game hyped up the battle to be beyond time, when it was less than 5 millenia ago. Kinda was a bummer to figure out the real time period. XP E Yeah♥ e 2 D Eeee-Money 08/20/2015 10:37 AM Well, tbf, even 3200 years is a long time by Earth standards at least; that's the majority of human history ago! The only reason it seems like "not much" in the context of this game is because of the ridiculous life spans of some of the races involved... E Yeah♥ e 2 Courtnay 08/20/2015 10:51 AM ·Spoilers Yeah, I measured out that the High Entia age 5x slower than Homs, while Machina age 80x-100x slower! Melia is about 17, Sorean is 64, & Kallian is 30. For the Machina, that 9000+ yr old Neonik is 90-100, Egil's about 40-50 & Miqol is 60-70. o_O' E Yeah♥ e 3 D E$ Wii U 08/20/2015 5:11 PM Huh, shows they did their math homework, if they still managed to get the age proportions right, despite the longer timespans involved! E Yeah! e 2 Courtnay 08/20/2015 5:40 PM Yeah, it also make the different races relatable when you find out their true ages. I think Nopon age the same as Homs, but still live longer. Homs are so delicate. lol E Yeah♥ e 3 D Chelo 08/22/2015 4:50 AM That's true. Riki is 40 and he looks like a little kid. E Yeah♥ e 2 D Eeee-Money 08/22/2015 10:33 AM ALL the Nopon look like little kids! Except for their chief... E Yeah♥ e 1 Courtnay 09/23/2015 5:36 PM ·Spoilers Man, it's been a month since I was here! I better get back to Xeno since I'm leaving Splatoon alone for a bit. XD Kinda creepy foreshadowing that Dickson says this when he's talking about the ether fluid that decomposes Bionis folk. Useful for later, huh? XP E Yeah♥ e 1 D Courtnay 09/26/2015 3:52 PM ·Spoilers Dunno if I mentioned this before, but doesn't it seem like Dunban has some sort of foresight? Here, he was able to figure out that Jade Face was watching them, & before he was able to save Melia from Metal Face within miliseconds. I know he's awesome & all, but this is overdoing it. Did some of the Monado's power seep into him back when he was using it? E Yeah♥ e 1 D Eeee-Money 09/26/2015 3:58 PM Just perceptiveness, I'd figure... E Yeah! e 1 Courtnay 09/26/2015 4:08 PM ·Spoilers I ask this coz more than half the things that Dunban expects to happen are things that not even Shulk (& occasionally Alvis) would predict. ...and how he cut off both of Metal Face's arms with one slash is beyond me. XD E Yeah♥ e 1 D Eeee-Money 09/26/2015 4:16 PM He's just that awesome! Remember, if you came into the game completely blind, it probably could have tricked you into thinking that Dunban was going to be the hero of the game at first! E Yeah♥ e 1 Courtnay 09/26/2015 5:50 PM ·Spoilers Yeah, that's what I thought when I first played the game! XD This scene still drives me nuts as to what's going on. Plus Shulk's fur coat is still driving my alternate dimension theory. LOL E Yeah! e 1 D Redmin 09/27/2015 12:22 AM Yeah E Money, I feel ya, But Dunban wouldn't be a bad choice for a main character. Considering he's a classy & charismatic character. E Yeah♥ e 2 D Courtnay 09/27/2015 4:53 PM ·Spoilers And these Machina children rub me the wrong way. Why do they look so...human or Homs-like? They even have diff hairstyles from one another. It seems that Machina are born as Homs/High Entia but that pod extends their life while turning them into machines.
