Proclamation. DISHASES OF ANIMALS ORDINANCE1906. Whereas cases of contagious Pleuro-pneumonia are reported by the Chief Veterinary Officer amongst the cattle belonging to Mr. R. B. Taylor on Castle Farm, Kokuyu, Now therefore in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the Diseases of Animals Ordinance 1906 I hereby declare the said farm an infected area, within the meaning of the aforesaid Ordinance. Notice (Under; the Crown Lands Ordinance 1903. ) NOTICE is hereby given that a breach of one of the Lessee’s covenants contained in a lease of a plot of land situate at Kampala (Nakasero) in the Kingdom of Uganda and numbered 3 in Block A made onthe Ist. day of April 1903, BETWEEN James Hayes Sadler, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, His Majesty’s Commissioner for Uganda of the one part AND Mirza Ali Khan and Company of the other part has been committed by the said Mirza Ali Khan and Company in that they have failed to construct the buildings required by the said lease to be constructed before the 1st. day of January 1904, AND further that itis proposed to take such steps as are authorised by law with a view to obtain a declaration of forfeiture of the said lease. Rules Rule made by the Acting Commissioner for the Uganda Protectorate under the Crown Lands Ordinance 1903. Survey. 1. This rule may be cited as the “Crown Lands (Survey) Rule 1906” and shall be read as one with the Crown Lands (Survey) Rules 1905. “Rule 7 of the Crown Lands (Survey) Rules 1905 is hereby repealed, and the follow- ing is*eubetituted therefor :— Plans. “7, Generally the boundaries of estates any roads or tracks of importance, rivers, and streams running through such estates will be surveyed, but a complete survey will be made should the applicant so desire and intimate his wish in writing before the Surveyor starts the survey. The Scale for surveys of estates will generally be 1/10000. It however the Chief Surveyor considers it desirable owing to the smallness of the estate to do so the scale may be increased to 1/2500. The following fees shall be charged for plans :— For Estates of less than 100 acres, Drawing paper Rs. 7-8-0. Tracing cloth Rs. 5. For Estates of 1060 to 1,000 acres, Drawing paper Rs. 16- 0-0, Tracing cloth Rs. 7-8-0. For Estates of 1,000 to 20,000 aeres, Drawing paper Rs. 45-0-0, Tracing¢sloth Res. 30. For Estates of above 20,000 acres in addition to the above. Drawing paper Rs. 15 per 10,000 acres or less. ‘Tracing cloth Rs. 10 per 16,000 acres or less.”
