PSA RSSO 6 Personnel Joins PESO Job Fair in Pototan, Iloilo PSA RSSO 6 Personnel Joins PESO Job Fair in Pototan, Iloilo Date of Release: 5 September 2019 Reference No. 2019-PR14 ILOILO – PSA RSSO 6 personnel in coordination with the Municipality of Pototan, Iloilo held a one-day Public Employment Services Office (PESO) Job Fair in celebration of 116th Manuel Parcon Day on 3 September 2019 (8:00-5:00 PM) at the Municipal Astrodome. PSA Information Help Desk was set up to provide pertinent information and assistance to applicants with regards to their queries on civil registry matters. Many of the job seekers availed the services such as consultation on the process to correct clerical or typographical errors for the date of birth, wrong entry in item for sex, and other erroneous entries in civil registry documents particularly in the birth certificate. They were given proper advice and assessed in sorting out errors that can be corrected through Republic Act 10172 and RA 9048. Registration Officer IV Mary Grace D. Dorilag together with Administrative Aide VI Daisy M. Luz answered queries of some job seekers who asked for help regarding legitimation process since the last name of the person is the surname of the mother. One of the issues of legitimation that were tackled and resolved is when a person is legitimated by subsequent marriage however the last name of the mother is still being used. Flyers were also given to them for ready reference containing different kind of problems regarding civil registry documents. The municipal government of Pototan expressed their gratitude to PSA for their unwavering support to their Job Fair activities that benefited the constituents of the municipality of Pototan. This publication provides information on the population size, land area, and population density by region, province, highly urbanized city, and city/municipality based on the data from population census conducted by the PSA in the years 2000, 2010, and 2015; and data on land area by city/municipality as of December 2013 that was provided by the Land Management Bureau (LMB) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). Also presented in this report is the percent change in the population density over the three census years. The population density shows the relationship of the population to the size of land where the population resides.
