II PROVINCE OF ILOILO Republic of the Philippines Message of the Governor At the outset I would like to thank the people of the Province of Iloilo for the support in the past eight years of my administration. It served as my inspiration to work harder in order to make our province progressive and globally competitive. The accolades we have earned from different sectors, both public and private, are clear manifestations of the good governance that I have institutionalized in the Iloilo provincial government. But more than the awards and recognitions we have receive, we have accomplished projects that helped uplift the lives of our people, such as, installation of potable water systems, rehabilitation of provincial roads, upgrading of our hospitals and rural health centers, etc. I am very thankful to the support of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan in making all our projects possible. Also, to the men and women of the Iloilo Provincial Government who do the legwork prior to the implementation of these projects. Let me also acknowledge the support of our foreign partners like the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) which have provided us financial support in our various health projects. Many other private and the non-government organizations (NGOs) had partnered with us in our thrust towards the development of our province.
