Honestly, I'm feeling pretty TIDAL-ed out, and I think most of you are too. Believe me, I didn't want to spend the last two months covering the worst album release in music history. I would have much rather just written about The Life of Pablo as a collection of music and called it a day. But after TIDAL and Kanye West took hundreds of thousands of dollars from people who paid for a download of The Life of Pablo —either in the brief window it was available for downloadable purchase or as part of their live-stream ticket purchase—without actually delivering the album I felt like I had to help hold them accountable. It had nothing to do with Kanye as an artist or changing the idea of an album as a fixed collection of music and everything to do with not looking the other way while corporations and millionaire artists took ordinary's people's hard-earned money without giving them the product they paid for. "The latest version of The Life of Pablo is now being delivered to the individuals that purchased it originally, as well as to those who in some cases did not receive a download link at the time of the album's release. Customers that received a refund will also receive a download link as a courtesy from Tidal.com." —TIDAL spokesperson. Was that really so hard? People pay for something, you give them what they paid for, it's not a difficult concept. I don't know if I feel more relieved that I can finally stop covering this story or angry I had to ever cover it at all. Whatever, my blood pressure is high enough as it is, I just need to let this go. Now it's onto bigger and better things, like, for example, getting TIDAL to explain those absurdly high TLOP stream numbers they just released. Kanye described his seventh record as a “gospel album with a lot of cussing” and spiritual inflections course through its best moments: “Ultralight Beam” is a celestial slow-burn that anoints the guesting Chance the Rapper Kanye’s chosen one, he casts Kim and himself as Mary and Joseph on the haunting “Wolves”, while the quickly infamous “Famous” has Rihanna and Nina Simone take it church. It’s a luminescent glimpse into Kanye’s constantly evolving worldview. THE LIFE OF PAUL (TLOP Extended/Remixed by Dorian Ye) [OUT NOW] Moved up from a December 5th release date (which would have commemorated Saint's first birthday) to compete with other in-the-works remixes of TLOP, I present to you all The Life of Paul . DOWNLOAD LINKS: One of the fascinating things about The Life of Pablo was how it evolved from the earliest versions of its tracks (such as the demo leaks of tracks like Waves, Wolves and Highlights) to its unfinished Tidal version that Ye released in February to the final product we received in March. Additionally, I believe that Pablo has the best sample selection of any Kanye record: the samples are gorgeous and take the tracks in unexpected (but often brilliant) directions. Keeping these two things in mind, I've created an extended/remixed version of the album using earlier and final versions of tracks along with high quality rips of the original samples to create something that expands on Kanye's songs without, in my opinion, completely overtaking them (well, except for Fade. That track is entirely revamped on here.) Outside of minor sound effects on a couple tracks and Stefan Ponce's I Love Kanye remix (which is pretty much an "unofficial official" version of the song at this point anyway), I didn't incorporate anything that a.) wasn't touched by Kanye in some way, shape or form, or b.) a part of, or related to, an original sample used on the album. I wanted these tracks to feel like ways that Kanye could have actually revamped some of the Pablo tracks if he'd extended the samples and left elements from the earlier versions of tracks in the final versions. I wound up making twooo versions of the album. Originally I'd wanted a lot of the songs to transition right into each other but I found that with gapless playback being hit or miss on most media players (and especially on my Spotify) the transitions between the individual tracks sounded pretty choppy. I wound up re-rendering the individual tracks to have definitive starts and ends as a compromise, but I also rendered a 103 minute MP3 of the entire album with the original transitions left intact. I've included both versions of the album in the download, along with artwork and a list of the edits that were done to the songs. My criteria for editing the songs was based off of what I felt were the best elements of the final Pablo tracks, the earlier Pablo tracks and the original samples, and how I could blend them together in the most efficient manner. Please keep in mind that a lot of the earlier versions and demos of Pablo songs were not of the highest sound quality (as well as one or two samples on here that were impossible to find HQ rips for). I tried re- mixing the additional elements in these tracks along with adding bass and treble to help them blend in better, but not all of it is 100% perfect. Also, moving this record up 3 weeks from its original December release means that I didn't have time to get the mixing down quite as perfect as I wanted to (though I still think it sounds pretty solid overall), but much like TLOP I intend for this to be a "living document" and hopefully before the end of the year I'll have an updated version out with some minor mixing tweaks. Additionally, if new or higher quality leaks of demo tracks come out in the coming months ( I'm looking at you, Yule Tide Yeezy I just realized he didn't release the leaks after Trump won the election like he promised and deleted his post about it, so obviously he's full of shit) I'll re-edit the songs accordingly. The most recent version of the album will always be linked in this original post along with an edit history. Kanye West Drops ‘The Life of Pablo’ Album. After numerous album title changes and delays, Kanye West finally releases his seventh solo studio album, The Life of Pablo. The new LP is available for purchase on his website right now and will also be available for download at kanyewest.tidal.com. The album stream is available for Tidal subscribers exclusively for seven days. If you purchase the album download via Kanye's site, the download will come with merch. Other artists featured on the 18-track album are Rihanna, The Weeknd, Kid Cudi, Swizz Beatz, Ty Dolla Sign, Vic Mensa, Sia, Frank Ocean and Post Malone. Producers on T.L.O.P. include Metro Boomin, Southside, Madlib and more. Last Thursday (Feb. 11), 'Ye premiered the project at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The listening was also live streamed on Tidal. The Life of Pablo was scheduled for a Friday release (Feb. 12) but it was postponed due to Chance The Rapper. Apparently Chance insisted that a song titled "Waves" be included on the album. Waves was also one of the previous titles of Kanye's LP. Kanye made the announcement that the project would be released after he performed on Saturday Night Live. The hip-hop vet was the music guest for SNL and performed two songs off the album: "Highlights" and 'Ultralight Beam." First place went to Andrew for his golf tournaments during the school break. He played seven Vanstratum of Cookeville, Tennessee who shot a 78 on round one and a 76 tournaments in the TGA (Tennessee Golf Association) Junior Tour, on round two for a total of 154. Michael shot an 82 on round one and 76 better know as the Vince Gill Junior Tour. After seven tournaments on round two for a total of 158 for second place. Michael ended up ranked number 14 out of 119 players in his Michael said that it really felt good to take second in a tournament division with an 82 average. This was good enough to get Michael with so many good golfers. Michael is turning 16 years old and is a junior invited to the TGA Championship Tournament August 1st and 2nd at Eagleville High School is a member of the Eagleville School Golf at Montgomery Bell. Team. He has only been playing for three years and hopes to play on the Michael’s division had to tee off from the blue tees (pro tees) and that makes for college level in the future. Dedication and a lot of practice seems to be a very long and hard round of golf on that course, especially on a hot summer day paying off.

They paid the costs of the trip – airfare, lodging, meals, transportation – and provided us with several chaperones for the duration of our 8-day stay.
