NAME OF CONSTITUTION 1. The name shaH be "CHESHIRE RUGBY FOOTBALL UNION" hereinafter called "the County Union". 2. The County Union shall be in membership with the Rugby Football Union. 3. The object of the County Union shaH be the promotion, encouragement and extension of Football. 4. The County Union being the constituent body for the Cheshire Area duly appOinted by the Rugby Football Union, shall aet as such constituent body. The expression "the Cheshire Area" has such meaning as on requestmay be assigned to it by the Committee of the rugby Football Union. MEMBERsHIP s. There shaH be eligible for Membership of the County Union: (i) Rugby Football Clubs, Including school clubs, in the ll Cheshire Area (hereinafter referred to as "clubs ). (ii) The Liverpool and District Rugby Union Referees' Society, the Manchester and Distriet Rugby Union Referees' Society and any other Society of rugby Union Football referees approved by the Committee of the County Union lt (hereinafter referred to as "societies ). (iii) Individuals. Provided that: (a)No club, society or individual shaH be eligible for membership which or who (unless previously reinstated)

·38 has b'een expelled from membership, being a player or official of a club or society, is under suspension by the Committee ofthe County Union (hereinafter referred to as the tlCommitteetl), or the Rugby Football Union, or has committed any act of professionalism as specified in the Rules for the time being as to Professionalism of the Rugby Football Union. (b )Every candidate for election must be proposed and seconded by or on bebalf oftwo Members entitled to vote by notice in writing given to the Hon. Secretary. Elections sball be by the Committee, and upon demand of any member ofthe Committee present elections sbalI be by ballot. HONORARY LIFE MEMBERS 6. Honorary Life Members may be elected at any General Meeting upon the recommendation ofthe Committee provided that notice of intention to propose them bas been includoo in the Agenda sent with the notice convening the meeting. PRMLEGES 7. Officers, Members of the Committee, Life Members and aIl Individual Members sball be entitled to free ground admission to ail County matches, the Final of The Cheshire Cup, the Final of the Cheshire Plate, the Final ofthe Colts' Shield and County Trial matches played in the Cheshire area except the final ofthe County Championship and othermatches under the auspices of'the Rugby Football Union sucb as Englisb trials or other County Finals. Entry to County Championsbip matcbes shall be by the production of a ticket voucher and to the finals of the County Competitions by the production of the County Membership Cardo ;. OFFICERS 8. Tbe Officers of the County Union shall be a President, Past Presidents, Senior Vice-president, Vice-presidents (ofwhom there 39 shall be not more than four), the Rugby Football Union County Representative, Honorary Treasurer, and Assistant Honorary Treasurer, an Honorary Secretary, an Assistant Honorary Secretary, and Honorary Match Secretary (hereinafter referred to as "Hon. Treasurer", n Assistant Hon. Treasurer", "Hon . Secretary", "Assistant Hon. Secretary" and. "Hon. Match Secretary" respectively) and the Courage Clubs Championship representative. 9. The Officers (except President) and other members of the Committee for the time being in office shall retire at the close of the annual General meeting in every year and the Meeting shaH elect Officers and Members ofthe Committee for the succeeding year. Retiring Officers and members of the Committee shaH be eligible for re-election. Election shan be decided by a majority of those voting. t O. No President shaH ~ eligible to serve in that office for more than two years. Il. No member other than a retiring officer shaH be eligible for election as an Officer unless, by notice in writing to the Hon .. Secretary before April 30th in any year he shaH have been nominated by or on behalf of two members entitIed to vote. 12. Casual vacancies or vacancies not filled at an Annual General Meeting may be fined by the Committee unless it has been expressly resolved by a General Meeting not to fin such vacancies. R.F.V. The representative ofthe County Union on the Committee of the Rugby Football Union shan be elected before 1st April each year in accordance with the rugby Football Union Bye-Laws, and the Hon. Secretary shall make the necessary arrangements.

40 ENTRANCE FEES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS 14. Annual Subscriptions, which shall fall due on September Ist each year, shall be: (i) In the case ofeach club (other than a schooi club), !3S,OOO, payable by Bankers' Order to the Hon. Treasurer on September 1st each year. . (ii) In the case of each school club !2S.00 (!IS ofwhich is paid as subscription to the Rugby Football Schools Union.) (iii) In the case of individuals other than Hon. Life members, !12.00 (iv) In the case of Individuals elected as Life Members other than Hon. Life Members one subscription of E.l 00. (v)In the case of the Referees' Society !12.00. 1S. Any member whose entrance fee or annual subscription shall not have been paid by September 30th in any year may he liable to suspen"ion by the County Union until the entrance fee and subscription shall have been paid. During suspension a member shaH not be entitled to exercise any of the rights of a member. 16. Any member not having resigned ftom the county Union by notice in writing to the Hon. Secretary, to be received by him not later than September 1st in any year, shall he liable for the subscription due on the said September 1st GENERAL MEETINGS 17. An Annual General Meeting of Members, of which ten clear days' notice shall be given to persons entitled to attend, shall he held not later than the third Saturday in July each year for the conduct of business authorised by the bye-Iaws. 18. The Hon. Secretary shall convene a Special General Meeting when directed by the Committee or upon receiving a requisition to that effect stating clearly the resolution or resolutions to be proposed and signed by or on behalf of not less than four 41 members being clubs. The Special General Meeting shall be held within twenty-one clear days or receipt of such requisition, and at least ten clear days' notice of such meeting shall be given to persons entitled to attend 19. There shall be, subject to Bye-Law 26, entitled to attend and vote at general meetings, the officers and members of the Committee, one duly appointed representative of each member club, three duly appointed schoolboy representatives nominated by the Schoolboys' Sub-Committee and one representative ofthe individual members elected immediately prior to the general meeting at which he is to act. (The duly appointed representative of each club for the purpose of this rule will be additional to officers and members of the Committee). 20. Individual members may attend genera1 meetings, but will not be entitled to vote save the individual member elected in accordance with Bye-Law 19. 21. A representative ofa club (other titan a &Chool club) shall be a member of the appointing club: a &Chool club representarive shall be a member of the staff of the school concemed. 22. For the purpose ofattending and voting atAnnual General Meetings, the name of a representative of a club or of a schoolboy representative shall be given by notice in writing under the hand of the appointing President, Chairman or Secretary to the Hon. Secretary ofthe County Union not later than the commencement of the general meeting which such representative shaH be attending. Ifmore than one alternative representative shall present himself, that one ofthem whose name appears on the notice shaH alone be entitled to vote. 23. The President or in case ofhis absence, the Vice-President who shall of those present have been longest in office, shall be Chairman at all General Meetings. If the President and al1 Vice­ Presidents shall all be absent the meeting sha11 appoint a Chainnan. In cases of an equality of votes, the Chairman shall have a second or casting vote. 42 24. The qùorum for a General Meeting shan be fifteen persons entitled to vote. 25. No person shan be entitled to attend any general meeting whilst any entrance fee or subscription is owing to the County Union by such person or by the club he represents in the case of the representative of a club. 26. The accidentai omission to give notice to, or the non­ receipt of notice by any member, shaH not invalidate the proceedings at any general meeting. COMMITI'EE 27. The Committee sha)) consist of the Officers, such of the Past Presidents as, shan have attended not less than half of the regularly convened meetings of the Committee during the preceding year ended April 30th, or have given explanations satisfactory to the Committee ofthe inability so to have attended, one representative ftom each club other than a schoolboy club affiliated to the Cheshire Rugby Football Union, and one representative, who is a member of a Cheshire club, from each of the Referee's Societies plus two representatives ftom the schools (one ftom the East and one from the West). The provisions as to the Chairmanship ofa general meeting shalI apply to meetings of the Committee. In the case of an equality of votes, the Chairman shall have a second or casting vote. 28. Each entitled affiliated club must submit, in writing. under the hand ofthe appointing club President, Chairman or Secretary to the Hon. Secretary of the County Union, the name of his representative to serve as a member of the Committee during the ensuring year not later than the commencement of the Annuài General Meeting. Substitutes will be entitled to attend meetings of the Committee provided that the name of the Substitute to serve as the member of the Committee be submitted in writing 43 under the hand of the appointing club President, Chainnan or Secretary to the Hon. Secretary of the County Union not less than seven days before the date of the meeting at which the Substitute intends to be present. In the event of a Club or Society representative being unable to continue as a member of the Committee during a particular year, the club concemed should submit, in writing, under the hand of the Appointing club President, Chairman or Secretary to the Hon. Secretary of the CQunty Union, the name of its new representative at least fourteen days before a meeting of the Committee. 29. The Committee shaH have the power to co-opt further members, but such co-opted members hall not be entitled to vote. 30. The aflàirs of the County Union including the control of the property and funds, shall be managed and controIJed by the Committee, which shan have the power to delegate such matters as it mry determine. 31. The quorum for meetings ofthe Committee shaJl he fifteen persons entitled to vote. 32. AlI acts done by any meeting of the Committee or of a sub-committee, or by any person acting as a member of the Committee or of a sub-committee shaH, not withstanding it be afterwards discovered that there was sorne defect in the appointment of any person acting as aforesaid, or that the Committee or sub-conunittee or any of them were disquaJified, or had vacated office, he as Valid as if every such person had been duly appointed, and was qualified and had continued to he, a member as aforesaid SUB-COMMITfEES 33. The Conunittee shan have the power to appoint any Sub­ Committee and to delegate to any Sub-Committee or to other persons such matters as it may determine. 44 . 34. The Committee shall appoint the following standing Sub- Committees, the quorum for meetings to be three persons entitled to vote: SELECTION SUB-COMMITIEE, consisting of not more than six named members, and the County Coach (to be appointed in January ofeach year). It shaH be responsiblefor the selection of senior teams to represent the County, and willliaise closely with the section committees of other sections. EMERGENCY SUB-COMMITIEE, consisting of the officers ofthe County, who shaH deaI with aIl complaints against Clubs and ail matters of urgency. FINANCE SUB-COMMITTEE, consisting of the President, Senior Vice-President, Hon.-Treasurer the Assistant Hon. Treasurer, Hon. Secretary, thé Assistant Hon. Secretary and one nominated representative of each of the following Sub­ Committees: Under 21, Colts, Schools, Minis, Cup and Individual Members. The Finance Sub-Committee shaH control ail incorne and expenditure. It rnay borrow monies . from any clearing bank or other recognised lending institution and may determine who may sign and endorse cheques. It shall investigate and advise upon applications frorn clubs for loans and from time to time review and report to the Committee upon invested funds. ISLE OF MAN SUB-COMMITIEE, consisting of one member frorn each club on the Island. The Sub-Committee shall elect annually, with the approval of the Committee, a Chainnan, Secretary and Treasurer. (lfno Secretary orTreasurer is elected from the members of the Sub-Committee, a Secretary .or Treasurer can be co-opted, without vote, on to the Sub­ Committee).

45 MATCH AND GROUND SUB-COMMITIEE, consisting ofthe Hon. Treasurer, Hon. Secretary, the Assistant Hon. Secretary and one member of the Committee from each club staging County or Representative games. The Match and Ground Sub­ Committee shall be responsible for nominating venues fro Home Fixtures, and shall have the power to delegate such matters as it May detennine. YOUTH SUB-COMMITTEE, consisting of a Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer elected by the Representative, of the U.2I Sub-Committee, Colts Sub-Committee, Mini and Junior Sub-Committee, the Schoolboys Sub-Committee, Coaching Sub-Committee, Junior Colts Sub-Committee and promotional Sub-Committee. The Youth Sub-Committee shall be responsible for looking after the interest ofplayers under the age of 21 years and shall aim to develop opportunities for learning and playing the game for ail v·ho wish to do so. The Youth Sub-Committee shall advise the County Committee on ail Youth matters. COLTS SUB-COMMlTTEE, consisting ofa Chainnan, Secretary and Treasurer elected by the Colts Sub-Committee with the approval of the Committee, six members elected by the Committee and six non-committee members. The six non­ committee members and six members elected by the Committee should as far as possible be drawn from ail areas ofthe County. It shall be responsible for the selection of teams to represent the Colts XV and to make travelling and hotel arrangements subject to any direction of the Committee as to finance. MINI & .Jl:JNIOR SUB-COMMITTEE, coDSisting ofa Chainnan, Secretary and Treasurer elected by the Mini and Junior Sub­ Committee with the approval of the Committee, plus a Representative of Mini Rugby from each club playing rugby 46 at this level. SCHOOLBOYS' SUB-COMMITIEE, consisting ofa Chainnan, Secretary and Treasurer elected by the Schoolboys' Sub­ Committee with the approval ofthe Committee, a representative of the County Education Authority, six members elected by the Committee and six schoolmasters. The six schoolmasters and six members elected by the Committee should, as far as is practicable, be drawn from ail areas of the County. It shall be responsible for the selection of teams to represent the Schools XV's and to make travelling and hotel arrangements subject to any direction of the Committee as to finance. DISCIPLINARY SUB-COMMITTEE (East), consisting ofseven members of whom one shall be Chainnan. No disciplinary hearing May consist of more than three members of whom one shall be Chairman. This Committee shall deal with ail complaints against players on the field DISCIPLINARY SUB-COMMITTED (West), (As per Disciplinary Committee (East) above). COMPETITIONS SUB-COMMITTEE, consisting of a Chainnan, Secretary and four members. It shall be responsible for oIganising and running ofthe Cup and Plate competitions. UNDER 21 SUB-COMMITTEE, consisting of the Chainnan, Secretary and Treasurer elected by the Sub-Committee with the approval of the committee and six members. It shall be responsible for the selection of teams to represent the County Under 21 XV and to make travelling and hotel arrangements subject to any directions of the Committee as to finance. COUNTY B SUB-COMMITTEE, consisting of a ChainnalJ', Secretary and Treasurer elected by the Committee. It sbaH be responsible for the selection ofteams to represent the County B XV and to make travelling and hotel arrangements for the 47 team subject to any direction of the Committee as to finance. COACHING SUB-COMMITfEE, consisting ofa Chainnan and Secretary and six members. It shaH advise the County Committee on ail coaching needs of all affiliated Clubs and Schools within the jurisdiction of the County Committee. 35. Each Sub-Committee other than the Selection Sub­ Committee shall keep minutes of its proceedings with the names of members present at its meetings; the minutes shall be signed by the Chainnan of the meeting or the Chainnan of the next meeting ofthat Sub-Committee. 37. Each Sub-Committee other than the Selection Committee shall, not withstanding anything contained in the bye-laws, be on ail matters subject to any instructions ofthe Committee, but subject thereto shall have powerto act without reference to the Committee. 38. Bach Sub-Committee shall submit its report to the Full Committee at each meeting, and shall hand $e minutes in writing to the Hon. Secretary, as soon as possible after a meeting. DISCIPLINARY POWERS 39. The Committee shall have the power to hold inquiries and to inflict appropriate punishment on any club, player, official or member of a club for inftingement of any Be-Law, Law of the Game or regulation relating to amateurs, or for any conduct, which in the opinion ofthe Committee, is prejudicial to the interests of the CoWlty Union or of the game. 40. The powers under the Laws ofthe Game and the Rules as to Professionalism of the Rugby Football Union which the Committee of the Rugby Football Union shall ftom time to time delegate to the County Union as its constituent body under the Rules of the Rugby Football Union shaH be exercised on behalf of the County Union by the Committee. 41. Each member club must elect a Disciplinary Sub- Committee to dea1 with discipline within the club. 48 CLUB ACCOUNTS 42. On or before 1st October eacb year a properly audited Balance Sheet together with a Statement of Accounts showing Income and Expenditure for the previous season shall be sent by each club in membership with the County Union, schools and colleges excepted, to the Secretary of the County Union for examination thereby and also (ifrequired) to the Secretary of the Rugby Football Union. In cases wbere a club's gross annual income exceeds·a sum to be determined annually by the Committee of the Rugby Football Union, its auditor sbaH be a Chartered Accountant ALTERATION TO BYE-LAWS 43. No bye-Iaw sbaH be altered, rescinded or added to excepting by a General Meeting, and then only with the consent of at least two-thirds of those voting. Notice of any proposed alteration to the bye-laws, and of any othermotion to be submitted to a General Meeting· except a motion relating to matters specifically provided by the bye-laws to be transacted at an Annual General Meeting, together witb the names of proposer and seconder, sball he given in writing to the Hon. Secretary before April 30th preceeding the meeting. PRESS 44. No member shall fumish information of County Union proceedings to or for the Press excepting with the written approval of the Hon. Secretary and the Chairman of the Sub-Committee concemed or of the president of the County Union ACCOUNTS AND AUDIT 45. At every Annual General Meeting a CbarteredAccountant shall be appointed auditor, to hold office Wltil the next succeeding Annual General Meeting. The retiring auditor shall be eligible for re-appointment

49 46. The Accounts shan be made up to 30th April in each year and signed by the Honorary Treasurer. They shan be audited by the Accountant appointed by the previous AG.M. a printed copy ofthe signed Balance Sheet, together with the Auditor's Certificate, shan be sent to each club and each member with the notice calling the AG.M. and the Balance Sheet shall be submitted to such meeting for its approval. COPIES OF BYE-LAWS 47. A copy of the bye-laws for the time being in force shall be sent annually to each member, who or which shan be bound thereto. INTERPRETATION OF BYE-LAWS 48. Any difference of opinion which may arise as to the interpretation of any of the bye-Iaws shall be decided by the Committee, unless it occors at a General Meeting when the decision "~a11 be made by the Chairman thereof. Any 8uch decision shall be recorded in the Minutes, and shall be accepted as the true meaning of the bye-Iaws, unti) otherwise interpreted at a General Meeting, due notice having been given. REGULATIONS OF THE COMMITTEE GOVERNING CLUB,MATCHESANDPLAYERSUNDERTHE JURlSDICTION OF THE CHESHIRE RUGBY FOOTBALL UNION 1. Clubs shall send to the Hon. Secretary of the County Union the names and addresses of their Representatives on the County Committee, their Hon. Secretary and Hon. Treasurer not later than the Annual General Meeting of the County Union. 2. Ifa match is delayed for an unavoidable reason 50 as to preclude the change of its being played according to the time agreed upon by the captains, the referee then has ab50lute power to decide the length of time of the match prior to the match starting. SO 3. The referee shaH have power to terminate the match should he think fit 4. It shall be illegal for any club knowingly to play any player who has previously been a member ofanother club which he has left without paying bis subscription. 5. AlI County representative sides shall only arrange tours under the laws and bye-Iaws ofthe RFU. Application for any such tour shall be submitted for County approval Dot later than six months before the commencement date ofthe tour. The balance sheet of ail such tours must be sent to the County Secretary within one month of the end of the tour.

51 STANDING ORDERS OF THE COMMI1ïEE GOVERNING ITS MEETINGS (to apply mutatis mutandis to General Meetings) 1. Every notice of motion shall be made in writing to the Hon. Secretary of the County Union to be included in the Agenda of the next meeting, such notice to be signed by at Jeast two members. The Motions shall be taken in the order in which they appear on the Agenda paper unless a majority of the Committee decide otherwise, and no motion will be put to the vote unless it is both moved and seconded. 2. AlI correspondence or business of importance which may have arisen too late for inclusion in the Agenda paper shall be produced previous to any motion on the Agenda paper being put, and the Committee may decide by a majority to take any such business before proceeding with the Agenda paper. 3. The Chairman shall have power to prevent any member, except the moyer, speaking more than once on any one motion or question unless in explanation. The moyer shall in all cases he entitled to speak once in making his motion, and one by way or reply. . 4. Whenever an amendment is moved on an original proposition and seconded, no second amendment shall be moved until the original amendment is disposed of. If an amendment be canied, the motion as amendment shan take the place of the original motion, and shall become the motion on which a second or further amendment may he moved. Only one amendment shall be submitted for discussion at a tinte. No reply is allowed to the moverof any amendment to a motion. 5. AlI resolutions shaH be put to the meeting and decided by a show of hands or by ballot at the discretion of the Chainnan. 6. The Chainnan shall have power to allow any member to rise and speak to a point of order at any point of a debate. 52 7. A declaration by the Chairman as to the result of a vote shaH be conclusive. 8. It is not intended to apply the standing orders to matters which may arise for discussion apart form the Agenda paper, and the Chairman shaH have power to enforce all or part ofthem only at his discretion. 9. Ali questions arising on the construction of the above standing orders shaH be determined by the Chairman of the meeting for the time being and his decision shaH be final.

53 RULES OF THE CHESHIRE CUP AND PLATE COMPETITIONS 1. The Competitions shall be called "The Cheshire Cup" and "The Cheshire Plate" with the name ofthe current sponsor included: 2. The Competitions will be organised by the Competitions Sub­ Committee of the Cheshire Rugby Football Union Committee. AIl questions affecting the qualifications of players and the interpretation of these rules shall be referred to the Sub­ Committee. The written decision of the Sub-Committee shan be binding and final subject to the appeal provisions herein. No protest or appeal will be permitted uniess the Club making the protest or appeai does so in writing 50 that it is received by the Competition Secretary within 72 hours of the termination of the match or within 72 hours of the decision of the Sub­ Committee. Upon receipt of the written notice or appeal or prote st the Comr~tition Sub-Committee Secretary shall convene a hearing ofat least three officers ofthe Co1Dlty (Who shalI not be members of the Competition Sub-Committee) for the purpose ofhearing the appeal or protest The hearing shan take place within 21 days ofthe receipt ofthe written notice of appeaI or protest and ail interested Clubs or individuals shan be notified by the Secretary in writing of the time, date and place of th~ hearing. The Club or individual shall be entitled ta attend and/or be representèd and submit such representatjons (whether written or oral) in support of the appeal or protest The decision of.the members of the appeal hearing will be given on the date of the bearing and shall be confirmed in writing with reasons ta the Club or individual within 7 ~ys of the date of the hearing. Any appeai from the appeal Committee's decision shall be to the Rugby Football Union in accordance with the provisions of the Laws an~ Regulations S4 of the Rugby Football Union. 3. AlI clubs who are full members of the Cheshire RFU shall be eligible to enter one or other ofthe Competitions according to their qualifying position in the Courage League or their performance in the preceding year's Plate Competition, provided all outstanding debts have been paid to the County Unions, including; (i) (a) The entrance fee to the Competitions. (b) The current season's subscription to the County. (c) Any current loan interest and repayment. (d) Submitted a balance sheet and statement of club accounts as required by the Rugby Football Union Bye-law 10 to the Cheshire R.F.U. Treasurer for the preceeding season. (c) Has no outstanding payments in connection with Disciplinary Hearings for the previous se~n. (ii) Ali entries from clubs in the I.O.M. are accepted subject to the condition that the I.O.M. club pays the travelling expenses as defined under R.F. U. Competition regulations. 4. There shall be an Entrance Fee as decided by the Competitions Sub-Committee. 5. Any club failing to fulfil a Cup or Plate fixture without giving at least 10 days notice to the Cup or Plate secretary and the opposition club will be banned from any Cup and Plate Competition for a period of one season. 6. Eligibility of Players (i) A club in a Competition match may only play, or select as replacements, players who are eligible to play for that club under the R.F.U. regulation governing registration ofa player for competitive rugby. 55 (ii) A club may only play or select as replacements in a Competition match, players who are eligible to play for the club under the regulations goveming registration of a player for competitive rugby and in accordance with the R.F.U. regulations relating to replacements. Penalty - Any inftingement of these eligibility Regulations may result in the disqualification from the Competition for that season, of the player and club involved 7. Any preliminary round for the Plate Competition to be drawn from new entrants to the Competitions or the losing teams in the previous competition's Preliminary or First Round 8. The draw for the Cup Competition and the Plate Competition shall he made by the Competitions Sub-Committee and the matches played on the dates determined by that Sub­ Committee. Clubs in matches up to but excluding the quarter final ti~ can play a Cup match on any day prior to the appointed date provided (1) that their opponents agree and (2) the consent in writing of the Competition's Sub-Committee is obtained. The first drawn Club in each tie (other than Final) shall have a choice ofground The Final will he played on a ground decided by the Competitions Sub-Committee. 9. The duration ofeach Tie will be one hour and twenty minutes, Wlless the referee considers that the match cannot be completed in accordance with the laws ofthe R.F.U. in which case the tie will he replayed on the same ground 10.Drawn Matches If after 40 minutes each way the scores are stilllevel, the team that has scored the most tries shall go forward into the next round If this does not produce a result, the team that has scored the most goals from tries goes forward into the next round S6 If this still does not produce a result then: (a) In ail matches up to but not including the Quarter Final the visiting team shall go forward to the next round. (b)In the Quarter-Final, Semi-Final and Final M~tches, there shall he an immediate period of extra time of 10 minutes each way, with a one minute interval. If this does not produce a result the team that bas scored the most tries in the whole game including extra time shall go through to the next round. If there is till no result the team that has scored the most . goals from tries in the whole game shall go through to the next round. If there is still no result then in the Quarter and Semi Final the away team shall go through to the next round. (c) ln the Final the game will continue in 10 minute periods, with one minute intervals. . The team scoring first shall he the wioner. Il. Ali entry proceeds, that heing Gate, Stand, programmes and car park shall be shared equally between the two Clubs concemed. The gate money from the Final ne, after deduction of expenses, shall go to the benefit of County Funds. The Members of the Home Club, including Ladies ~ust pay for admission to the Grounds, Stands and Enclosures, etc. 12. AlI nes will be refereed by a member ofan R.F.U. recognised Referee's Society. The touch-judges for the final and semi­ finals, and whenever possible, all other Cup and Plate games, shall he members ofsaid Referees' Society. In matches where both touch-judges are Society referees, the touch-judges shall report incidents offoul play and misconduct under Law 26 to the referee for the match.

57 13. In the event of a clash of colours between competing Clubs, the Home team or the team named first in the draw must change its colours. 14. If any matter is Dot covered by these rules, those applying ta the R.F.U. Knookout Cup Competition shaU be used. 15. The results of competition matches shaH be notified ta the Cup Competition Secretary or the Plate Competition Secretary by 10am on the Monday following the match.
