For November, a nostalgic memoir... Life with Father This charming movie is set in New York City in the 1880’s, a much simpler time. Clarence Day is a businessman who directs his company with an iron hand. He believes he has that same kind of authority with his family, but does he really? Visiting relatives, growing children, and Mrs. Day’s somewhat creative approaches to the family finances seem to be eating away at his authority as head of his household and king of his castle.
