SCENIC/LIGHTING DESIGNER GARY VAN DER WEGE, serves as Technical Director and Designer for the Mary Moody Northen Theatre. This sum­ mer he designed the sets for the MMNT productions of AUSTIN TAXIDERMIST BLACK COMEDY and COUNT DRACULA . Additionally, he appeared in the role of Schuppanzigh in BLACK COM­ Established 1936 EDY. He has been designing and providing technical ser­ Jimmy & Kodie Bird vices for Austin theatre , opera, dance, TV and film for 10 years. He joined the St. Edward 's staff two years ago and L.M. Rathbone has designed the scenery for the MMNT productions of BEYOND THE HORIZON, LOVE BY THE BOLT, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, LAST OF THE RED HOT LOVERS, and Creators of Lifelike Mounts THE LION IN WINTER. Medina-Pape holds an MFA in Theatre Costume Design from the Uni­ MARY MOODY NORTHEN THEATRE versity of Texas and a BA in Political Science . She has designed the costumes for the Mary Moody Northen Theatre productions of CHICAGO, LOVE BY THE BOLT, presents ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD, LAST OF THE RED HOT LOVERS, THE NERD , LION IN WINTER, THE UNEXPECTED GUEST, MAN OF MODE, , HAY FEVER, THE MIRACLE WORKER , and co-designed ANNIE GET YOUR GUN. She has received ACOT nominations in Costume De sign for the productions of MAN OF MODE and HAY FEVER. Other costuming credits include CRACKERJACK , RAGS by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse TO RICHES, BYE-BYE BIRDIE, DRACULA, COSI FAN TUTTE, the KLRN production of NEWSCAST OF THE PAST and the movies BLOOD SIMPLE and NOT FOR YOU . She designed the costumes for the Austin produc­ SCENIC/LIGHTING DESIGNER tions of CINDERELLA MEETS THE WOLF MAN for KIDS ACTING and RED SEA for the Aquafest New Works GARY VAN DER WEGE festival at Live Oak Theatre. This past summer, she designed costumes for MMNT's summerstock produc­ tions of BLACK COMEDY, THE DRUNKARD, and DRAC­ ULA. GUEST ARTIST MARK WEBSTER is a native of Minnesota, where he SOUND DESIGNER received his undergraduate training in acting and direct­ ing. He completed a Master of Fine Arts degree in Direct­ PHILIP NOLEN ing at U.T. in 1984, and is presently a doctoral candidate in theatre history and criticism at U.T. Although LIFE WITH FATHER is Mark's first appearance at MMNT, he has acted in a number of Austin productions. He received B.
