Our Work Our Work First Office Development Completes at New Aberdeen’s Marischal Square welcomes two more major businesses ahead of completion Leading UK restaurant group, Prezzo, and Mackie’s of Scotland are the latest businesses to join the growing list of high-profile tenants committed to the prestigious £107 million Marischal Square development in Aberdeen city centre. Prezzo, which specialises in Italian food and hospitality, has signed a 25-year lease, to join All Bar One and Marriott Hotels in taking space at the transformational mixed-use project and will welcome customers from next summer. The film has been created over the past 13 months as the second phase of development, a 50,000 sq ft office with oundgr floor etail,r Holiday Inn Express hotel and new public realm, have taken shape. Muse Developments is working in partnership with Stockport Council to deliver the scheme. Our work Green light for £185m New Victoria Wapping Wharf Living, Bristol regeneration scheme Planning permission has been granted for New Victoria, a multi-million-pound project which will revitalise a key part of Manchester city centre, adjacent to Victoria Station. National developer and urban regeneration specialist, Muse Developments, in partnership with Network Rail, has today been given the go ahead by Manchester City Council’s planning committee to create a £185 million mixed-use development on the 2.5-acre site on Corporation Street. Our work Construction milestones for Stockport Time Square, Warrington Exchange Holiday Inn Express Key representatives from Stockport Council and Interstate joined Muse Developments and Eric Wright Construction to have a guided tour of the new 115 bedroom Holiday Inn Express hotel which will open later this year at Stockport Exchange. They viewed a sample hotel room, which has already been fitted out to be used as a benchmark for future fit outs, and took a trip up to the oofr to take in the views across Stockport. Our work Marischal Square taking shape ahead of City Place, Chester 2017 opening Senior figures from Aberdeen City Council toured the £107 million Marischal Square development, now that the footprint and structure of the buildings are in place on the project which will play a key role in the Council’s long-term City Centre Masterplan. Muse Developments’ Regional Director for Scotland, Steve Turner, led the delegation, which included Deputy Council Leader, Cllr. Marie Boulton and Finance Convener, Cllr. Willie Young. Our work Anchor tenant announced for Talbot Gateway, Blackpool Chester's One City Place International audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has been announced as the anchor tenant at Chester’s multi-million pound City Place office development. The move will enhance the working environment for RSM’s people and clients, and further strengthens the firm’s presence in the region. RSM will relocate around 85 people from existing space in the city and will take a 8,116 sq ft floorplate on the top floor of the state-of-the-art offices near Chester Railway Station. The firm has agreed to a 10-year lease to accommodate its rapidly growing team. Our work Sainsbury's signs up at Stockport Stockport Exchange Exchange Sainsbury’s will be opening a new store at Stockport Exchange, following a deal to lease the first commercial unit at the scheme to the retail giant. The new 4,000 sq ft Sainsbury’s Local store will be located opposite Stockport train station in the ground floor of a 50,000 sq t,f Grade A office building, which is currently under construction. The new five-storey office is part of the second phase at the town’s gateway development. Our work Muse to launch Harrier Park at Hucknall Stockport Exchange Muse Developments is set to boost business and job prospects in the East Midlands with the launch of a new manufacturing and logistics park. Harrier Park at Hucknall is just minutes from the M1 and perfectly situated to promote both new and existing trade and business relationships across the UK. The new 70 acre business park, which will be creating around 2,000 new jobs for local people, will be delivered by Muse – the leading national developer and regeneration specialist – in partnership with Rolls-Royce.     Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan Background: A directive from the Department for Transport requires that each local authority produces a Local Cycling & Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) aimed at improving the Active Travel modes of cycling and walking for journeys to work, schools, shops, healthcare facilities and public transport hubs such as train stations. Projects in the plan can then be considered for central government funding; however, just because a project is in the plan it doesn’t guarantee that it will funded; but if isn't in, it definitely won’t happen! CCC members have been advising the experienced consultants who drafted the Plan over the last six months on the specific needs of the residents of Chester. For a copy of the CWaC report see Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan summary document (PDF, 19MB) The CWaC plan splits the Borough into five separate areas, i.e.Chester City, Ellesmere Port and Neston, Helsby & Frodsham, Northwich and Winsford and a matrix at the and of the report categorises each separate plan as either Short Medium or long term deliverability. Plans for Chester The four projects in Chester include mixed infrastructure including two way light segregated cycle track, traffic calming, public realm improvements and inner ring road walking improvements.
