THE ALL-TIME SERIES – This will be just the sixth meeting between Colorado and Bakersfield as members of the AHL, but while both members battled as members of the ECHL, the Eagles held a record of 22-7-0 in 29 games against the Condors. EAGLES’ LAST GAME (1/5) – Colorado scored three goals in the final 7:34 of the third period but fell short in a 7-6 loss to the Stockton Heat on Saturday. Eagles forward Andrew Agozzino notched two goals and two assists, while defenseman David Warsofsky posted four assists in the loss. Colorado was fueled by a power play that went 3-for-4 in the contest. CONDORS’ LAST GAME (1/9) – Texas Stars goalie Landon Bow made 28 saves on 30 shots as the Stars defeated the Bakersfield Condors, 3-2 on Wednesday. Bakersfield forwards Mitch Callahan and Josh Currie each scored a goal in the losing effort, as the Condors outshot Texas, 13-4 in the third period during a furious rally attempt that came up just short.
