Game Notes brought to you by: TONIGHT’S GAME – The Colorado Eagles take on the Bakersfield Condors tonight for the sixth time this season and for the third time at the Budweiser Events Center as members of the AHL. THE SEASON SERIES – The Eagles lead the season series, with a record of 3-2-0 through the first five meetings of the season. THE ALL-TIME SERIES – This will be just the sixth meeting between Colorado and Bakersfield as members of the AHL, but while both members battled as members of the ECHL, the Eagles held a record of 22-7-0 in 29 games against the Condors. EAGLES’ LAST GAME (1/5) – Colorado scored three goals in the final 7:34 of the third period but fell short in a 7-6 loss to the Stockton Heat on Saturday. Eagles forward Andrew Agozzino notched two goals and two assists, while defenseman David Warsofsky posted four assists in the loss. Colorado was fueled by a power play that went 3-for-4 in the contest. CONDORS’ LAST GAME (1/9) – Texas Stars goalie Landon Bow made 28 saves on 30 shots as the Stars defeated the Bakersfield Condors, 3-2 on Wednesday. Bakersfield forwards Mitch Callahan and Josh Currie each scored a goal in the losing effort, as the Condors outshot Texas, 13-4 in the third period during a furious rally attempt that came up just short. LAST MEETING (1/4) – Colorado forward Scott Kosmachuk scored a pair of goals and 10 different Eagles appeared on the score sheet in Colorado’s 5-4 win over the Bakersfield Condors on Friday. The Eagles faced a season-high 51 shots from the Condors, including a season-high 22 shots in the third period. Goaltender Spencer Martin earned the victory in net, stopping 47 of the 51 shots he faced in the contest. Francouz has gone 13-8-2 with a COLORADO EAGLES 2.84 goals-against average, .915 save-percentage and has PP: 14.7% (26th) posted one shutout with the Eagles. Agozzino currently leads PK: 83.9% (8th) Colorado in goals (15), assists (20), points (35) and plus/minus rating (+11).
