TODAY’S GAME – The Colorado Eagles take on the Texas Stars tonight in the second game of a two-game series. THE SERIES – Colorado will face Texas four times this season, with two of those games taking place at the Budweiser Events Center. The season series is tied 1-1-0 after the Stars defeated the Eagles 5-4 last night. THE ALL-TIME SERIES – The Eagles are 1-1-0 all-time against the Stars, as tonight marks just the second-ever meeting between the two clubs at the Budweiser Events Center. EAGLES’ LAST GAME (3/10) – Colorado rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the second period to tie the game at 4-4 but surrendered the game-winning goal early in the third, as the Eagles fell to the Texas Stars 5-4 on Tuesday. Forwards Julien Nantel and Colin Campbell each netted a pair of goals in the loss. Colorado outshot Texas 47-23, including 21 shots in the second period. STARS’ LAST GAME (3/10) – Same as above. LAST MEETING (3/10) – Same as above UP NEXT FOR THE EAGLES – Colorado will travel to take on the Stockton Heat on Saturday, March 14th at 7:00pm MT at Stockton Arena in Stockton, California. UP NEXT FOR THE STARS – Texas will continue its road trip when the Stars face the Tucson Roadrunners on Saturday, March 14th. STAR POWER- Tonight’s matchup is just the second-ever game between the Colorado Eagles and Texas Stars at the COLORADO EAGLES th Budweiser Events Center and is just the third meeting PP: 18.0% (15 ) th between the two clubs. Through 34 games this season, Nantel has already posted eight goals and five assists, including a two- goal performance last night.
