TODAY’S GAME – The Colorado Eagles take on the Texas Stars tonight in the second game of a two-game series. THE SERIES – Colorado will face Texas four times this season, with two of those games taking place at the Budweiser Events Center. The season series is tied 1-1-0 after the Stars defeated the Eagles 5-4 last night. THE ALL-TIME SERIES – The Eagles are 1-1-0 all-time against the Stars, as tonight marks just the second-ever meeting between the two clubs at the Budweiser Events Center. EAGLES’ LAST GAME (3/10) – Colorado rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the second period to tie the game at 4-4 but surrendered the game-winning goal early in the third, as the Eagles fell to the Texas Stars 5-4 on Tuesday. Forwards Julien Nantel and Colin Campbell each netted a pair of goals in the loss. Colorado outshot Texas 47-23, including 21 shots in the second period. STARS’ LAST GAME (3/10) – Same as above. LAST MEETING (3/10) – Same as above UP NEXT FOR THE EAGLES – Colorado will travel to take on the Stockton Heat on Saturday, March 14th at 7:00pm MT at Stockton Arena in Stockton, California. UP NEXT FOR THE STARS – Texas will continue its road trip when the Stars face the Tucson Roadrunners on Saturday, March 14th. STAR POWER- Tonight’s matchup is just the second-ever game between the Colorado Eagles and Texas Stars at the COLORADO EAGLES th Budweiser Events Center and is just the third meeting PP: 18.0% (15 ) th between the two clubs. NEXT LEVEL- Colorado forward Julien Nantel concluded the 2018-19 campaign with the Eagles having posted one goal and three assists. Through 34 games this season, Nantel has already posted eight goals and five assists, including a two- goal performance last night. The 23-year old helped Colorado capture back-to-back Kelly Cup Championships in the ECHL in 2017 and 2018. $750 .

AVALANCHE PRESEASON GAME NOTES Saturday, September 21, 2019 Avalanche at Minnesota Wild — Xcel Energy Center Tonight: The Colorado Avalanche plays its first road game of the preseason tonight, taking on the Minnesota Wild at Xcel Energy Center. It’s the third of six exhibition contests for Colorado, which faces the Wild, Vegas Golden Knights and Dallas Stars twice each (once at home, once on the road) during the exhibition slate. Saturday’s contest is the first half of a back-to-back, home-and-home series against the Wild before Colorado closes out the preseason with road contests at Vegas and Dallas. Broadcast Schedule: All preseason and regular season games can be heard on the Altitude Radio Network, with Altitude Sports Radio (92.5 FM) serving as the flagship home of Avalanche hockey in 2019-20. Marc Moser (play-by-play) and Peter McNab (analyst) will once again be in the booth for all Altitude TV broadcasts, while Conor McGahey will call the action for all six exhibition games and all 82 regular season contests on Altitude Sports Radio. TONIGHT’S GAME – The Colorado Eagles take on the Bakersfield Condors tonight in the first game of a two-game series. THE SERIES – Colorado will face Bakersfield eight times this season, with four of those games set to take place at the Budweiser Events Center. THE ALL-TIME SERIES – The Eagles are 4-4-0 all-time against the Condors, including a 2-2-0 mark in games played at the BEC. EAGLES’ LAST GAME (11/12) – Josh Dickinson notched a pair of assists, while fellow forwards Jacob MacDonald, Erik Condra and Igor Shvyrev all netted goals as the Colorado Eagles defeated the San Antonio Rampage, 3-1 on Tuesday. Eagles goaltender Hunter Miska was stellar in net, stopping 38 of the 39 shots he faced. Colorado’s victory, combined with the Eagles 5-2 win at Texas on Saturday, gave Colorado a perfect 2-0 mark on the team’s two-game road trip through the Lone Star State. The victory also improves the Eagles road record to 5-2 on the season. CONDORS’ LAST GAME (11/9) – Bakersfield scored three power-play goals to race past the San Jose Barracuda, 6-3 on Saturday. Forwards Brad Malone and Tyler Benson each generated four points in the victory, as goaltender Stuart Skinner earned the win in net by turning aside 19 of the 22 shots he faced in the contest. LAST MEETING (4/27) – Martin Kaut’s two-goal performance would not be enough, as the Bakersfield Condors scored four straight goals to defeat the Eagles, 5-2 in Game Four of the opening round series of the 2019 Calder Cup Playoffs.
