Bernard Lonergan, regarded by many as the finest philosophic mind of the 20th century, will return to his alma mater to receive an honorary doctorate at the Loyola Faculty of Arts & Science convoca­ tion June 5 at 2 :15 p.m. on the Loyola Campus. Lonergan, a Quebec native who now lives in the Jesuit Community at Boston College, became the focal point of world philosophical thought after the publication of his master work Insight in the late 1950s.
