Crossing under the of the bypass, 6 we continue for 1,4 Km to arrive at S. Sisto where we turn right and over a foot bridge which takes us on the bank of the canal. After 350 m we leave the embankment path and continue to walk along the Via Argine destro Adigetto for 500; 7 we turn right on Via della Conciliazione, after 900 m we cross the Provincial Highway SP4, 450 m more and we will be at S. Apollinare, a village with facilities for refreshment. 8 We turn left, then right into Via Tommaso Bergamo; we go on for 600 m, turn right on the bridge over the Canal Bianco, we again turn right on Via Canal Bianco which we follow for 2 Km, up to Passo 9 where we turn left, we cross yet another canal, and take, in the middle the Provincial Highway SP5 with its cycling lane on its right. Now we go straight ahead for 5,5 km , we cross Pontecchio Polesine, and arrive at Guarda Veneta, against the right bank of the River Po. 10 We walk up the great river for 4,5km to arrive at Polesella. Two formerly described communities were recognized: Cyperetum esculenti and Amaranthus tuberculatus-phytocoenon. A third greater cluster is assigned to a new association: Cyperetum micheliano-glomerati. It is characterized by Cyperus glomeratus, C. michelianus, C. odoratus and C. squarrosus, that have been detected on over 75 % of the relevés. The main floristic and ecological traits of these detected vegetation types are discussed.
