Davenport, a Preseason All-CIAA back, rushed for 1,133 yards in 2014 which led the conference. His rushing total was the second-highest in a season for a Falcons’ running back in the modern era. Jamal Parker led the Falcons with 41 catches for 419 yards and two touchdowns as a junior. Defensive back Denzel Wat- kins is the top returning tackler (48 tackles). Tim Chavous is the interim head coach. ABOUT THE OPPONENT Virginia State University returns 42 lettermen from last year’s squad which won the CIAA Championship and reached the NCAA Division II playoffs with a 10-3 record including 7-0 in the CIAA. Participants were asked to fill out both an individual questionnaire and to participate in groups to fill out a group questionnaire. There were a total of 54 paper questionnaires, and 15 group questionnaires. The questionnaire was also made available for more than 2 weeks online so that community members who could not attend could provide feedback. There were a total of 3,663 online questionnaires completed. Cooperative Strategies would like to thank the students, staff, Board of Education, Facilities Steering Committee, and the community of the Virginia Beach City Public Schools for their commitment and dedication to the planning process.
