Heralded for their artistry, members of the Pablo Casals Trio are Jurgen de Lemos on , Larry Graham on piano and Os wald Lehnert on violin. All three members of the trio are on the faculty of the University of Colorado in Boulder. Additionally, they are featured at home and abroad with symphony orchestras in perfor mances of the triple concertos of Beethoven, Casella and Moor. The trio gained its name following a visit with Pablo Casals in 1973. Casals, generally considered the world's foremost cellist and one of its most respected conductors, invited de Lemos, Lehnert and Paul Parmelee (then the trio's pianist) to his home in Puerto Rico where he worked with them on chamber music technique. Impressed with the trio's playing, he gave them permission to use his name for the ensemble. Casals died later that year.
