European Contemporary Print Triennial 2013 The aims of the Triennial To show contemporary European printmaking. To show contemporary printmaking from the Midi Pyrenees region. To promote meetings and exchanges between artists from the region and the rest of Europe. Prizes Each of the exhibitions will have a purchase prize. The First Prize for European Triennial will be awarded by a jury of professionals. The prize will include a subsidised personal exhibition at « Le Majorat » Visual Arts Centre in Villeneuve-Tolosane. Eligibility Open to all artists working in Europe. There is no registration fee. Techniques All printmaking techniques are accepted: from traditional techniques to digital. Theme No theme is imposed, each artist will be able to express himself or herself freely. Size of work The size of the paper must be either 30x40 cm, 40x50 cm or 50x65 cm. Short-listing of the works Artists must send digital images (300dpi) of three recent prints (made in the last three years), a short artists statement and a short CV, by e-mail or by post with the entry form attached, before the 30 th October 20012 . Each image must be labelled with the name and address of the artist, the title and dimensions of the image, technique used and the number of prints in the edition. Photographs, memory sticks and compact discs will not be sent back. A jury made up of lecturers, curators, art historians, gallery owners and artists will meet to select the work. Selected artists will be notified by mail and will have to deliver the prints and relevant documents. At the end of the triennial, the prints will be sent back to the artists free of charge and in their original packaging.
