It discusses factors industry should consider before choosing a location; it attempts to demonstrate that industry should not always be regarded negatively in a given community, but rather that it can benefit a community by providing employment opportunities and additional tax revenue. The unit stresses the manufacturing and processing aspects of production and not the distribution end retailing features. It also emphasizes the value of cooperation between industry and local citizens. Two publications necessary to teach the unit are listed along with additional teaching aids in a section for the teacher. The unit includes the behavioral objectives and the expected student criteria for evaluation, pretests and posttests, teacher background information, a suggested instructional sequence, a bibliography of both student and teacher resources, student data sheets and readings. McCook et al. provide data to demonstrate that, although some marine species remain significantly de- pleted, reef shark, fish, corals, and other populations on the Great Barrier Reef may benefit when marine reserves are integrated into large-scale, adaptively managed networks.
Údaje o zahraničních investicích zahrnují tři složky – základní jmění, reinvestovaný zisk a ostatní kapitál (charakterizovaný především úvěrovými vztahy). Pokud se u položky objeví znak „minus“, znamená to: 1. u přímých zahraničních investic do ČR pokles hodnoty investic dané země v ČR (např. zisk nebyl reinvestován v ČR, zahraniční podniky splácely dříve čerpané úvěry do zahraničí); 2. u českých investic do zahraničí pokles hodnoty českých přímých investic v dané zemi (např. odprodejem základního jmění, vygenerováním hospodářské ztráty nebo poskytnutím úvěru mimo hranice hostitelské země). Souhrnné údaje o zahraničním obchodu ČR s dalšími zeměmi a celními územími neuvedenými v textu kapitoly II. Bilaterální vztahy ČR obsahuje tabulka „Zahraniční obchod České republiky v letech 2005 – 2007“ v oddílu PŘÍLOHY této publikace. 1.
