These blithe beings are known for their irregular wingbeat in flight and a shrill-wailing cry. With its lush landscape, the turf of CUTN CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF TAMIL NADU campus is a groovy familiar for the winged visitors. Several exotic species of these feathered friends can be spotted all year round. VOLUME 3 ISSUES 1&2: JULY 2017 TO JUNE 2018 But the Lapwings superabound the CUTN scenery. That’s also a reason why the CUTN newsletter is named after the LAPWING. LAPWING LAPWING EDITORIAL TEAM EDITORIAL TEAM Prof. A. P. Dash Dr. S. Bhuvaneswari Dr. A. Ragupathy Dr. Shamala R.
