On June 28, 2021, issued a decree merging Our Lady of the Rosary and Saint Aloysius Parishes effective July 1, 2021 Saint Aloysius is the name that will continue to be used to identify the newly merged community. The worship site at Interstate 94 and Woodward Avenue will continue to be known as Our Lady of the Rosary church and will still be used for the celebration of Mass and other liturgies. A certified copy of the decree may be obtained from Saint Aloysius Parish office upon request. For additional information and assistance in understanding the details of this announcement, you may contact the Office of the Chancellor at [email protected]. The decree announcing the merger can be found at the entrances of both churches this weekend and next. Questions regarding sacramental records and other information related to the former Our Lady of the Rosary parish should now be directed to Saint Aloysius.
