  • When Geraldo Threatened Me; Dan Rather, Ben Shapiro, the Conways, and More (3/22)
Bernie’s Q&A: When Geraldo Threatened Me; Dan Rather, Ben Shapiro, The Conways, and More (3/22) Welcome to this week’s Premium Q&A session for Premium Interactive members. I appreciate you all signing up and joining me. Thank you. Let’s get to your questions (and my answers): Several years ago, Geraldo Rivera — on The O’Reilly Factor — threatened to give you a “bloody nose” over some comments you had made about his well-documented bias on Mexican immigration issues. (Editor’s note: the video is embedded below). Do you know if there was any disciplinary action taken against Rivera for physically threatening a network colleague? Also, what was your reaction to his comment? Did you talk to anyone at Fox about it? — Ben J. I thought he sounded like a jerk and let it go at that. I doubt Fox said or did anything about it. Fine with me. Geraldo gets excitable at times. No harm no foul. In light of the views and behavior of Ihan Omar and “AOC”, do you think they are a potential albatross for the dems, or an actual catalyst for bringing socialism to fruition? — Terry H. Interesting question, Terry. I’m guessing the grownups in the party will give AOC and maybe Omar “movie money” during the campaign to get them away from cameras and microphones. If they keep talking, yes, it could hurt the Democrats. But I’m not betting on it. As you suggest in your question, there are plenty of hard-left “progressives” who love what they’re saying.

Salisbury St. Raleigh, NC 27603 Re: 2020 Republican Presidential Primary Ballot Access Dear Chairman Circosta: Please accept this letter as Congressman Joe Walsh’s request to be placed on the 2020 Republican Presidential Primary Ballot in North Carolina. Pursuant to North Carolina law, the North Carolina State Board of Elections can add presidential candidates who are “generally advocated by the national news media to be potential candidates” for each major political party’s nomination. Enclosed, please find an extensive list of articles and interviews satisfying this requirement. On August 25, 2019, Congressman Joe Walsh announced his candidacy for president on the highest rated Sunday news program – Meet the Press. Congressman Walsh has qualified to be placed on every state ballot where it is up to their respective Secretary of State or similar government agency to determine this requirement. To date, these include California, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Tennessee. The Secretaries of State in the aforementioned all chose to overrule their state Republican Parties by including Congressman Walsh. Furthermore, Congressman Walsh has qualified in New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Idaho, Colorado, Florida, and Texas. Every major polling firm has consistently included Congressman Walsh where he polls in second or third, nationally and state-by-state. The lineup includes big names like Trevor Noah, James Carville, Newt Gingrich, and Ann Coulter – as well as Los Angeles based human rights activists, formerly incarcerated people, and the families of loved ones who have been killed by law enforcement. Los Angeles based organizations including Dignity and Power Now, Black Lives Matter LA, and the ACLU of Southern California will be joining the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights in a Politicon event hosted and moderated by Tourè this Saturday in order to highlight how the families of the victims of police brutality are the ones leading the charge for change, introduce the key players, and encourage people to join the fight.
