Core Values Academic Excellence Earnest Effort Honorable Conduct Dedicated Service Wellness of Mind, Body, and Spirit Dear Friends, Welcome to the Fay Parents’ Association’s Spring Gala! The Spring Gala is a highlight of the school year and a wonderful opportunity for parents and faculty to come together and enjoy each other’s company. This event showcases the engagement of our community members, whose commitment and dedication to Fay and its mission are evident in the impressive planning and execution of this evening. The Spring Gala is more than “just” a party: the Parents’ Association donates the funds raised at tonight’s event to help meet new and emerging needs not accommodated within the School’s annual budget. Your participation tonight— and your generous auction bids —will directly benefit the experience of all Fay students. I would like to recognize the extraordinary work of Parents’ Association President Deb Insani, Gala Committee Chair Martha McNally, Chair of Solicita- tion Anne Mato, and the entire Gala Committee. I am grateful for their excellent work. Carol and I are delighted that you could join us this evening, and we thank you for your participation in this celebration! Sincerely, Robert J. Mondo returned to the runway in 2012 on the debut season of Project Runway All Stars, where he emerged as the series’ first champion. And earlier this year, Mondo joined fashion guru and Emmy Award winner Tim Gunn as a mentor on the new show Project Runway: Under the Gunn. Mondo has been HIV-positive for over ten years and his courageous revelation on Project Runway has launched him into HIV awareness advocacy. He is currently collaborating with Merck on I Design, a national HIV education campaign aimed at helping to empower people with the disease to play an active role in designing their treatment plan with their doctors.
