The number of priests per Catholic has declined over the past 40 years. This makes it more difficult for individual parishioners to establish a WEEKEND MASS SCHEDULE close relationship with any one particular priest. Furthermore, priests are Saturday Vigil Mass — 4:00 p.m. no longer the only ones who offer pastoral care to our people. Yet Sunday — 7:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. without a priest, no parish is able to be a Eucharistic community.
