Welcome to The Nebraska Christian Dinner & Benefit Auction 55 Years of “Building Lives for Eternity” Nebraska Christian Schools Central City, Nebraska www.nebraskachristian.org Saturday, March 29, 2014 Please bring this catalog with you on Saturday evening. Dear Friends of Nebraska Christian, On behalf of the Nebraska Christian Schools family, we would like to welcome you to our Dinner and Benefit Auction. Our many families, dedicated teachers, administration and staff want you to know that they appreciate your presence and the support you show by your enthusiastic participation in the bidding this evening. We are grateful for the generosity of so many in giving their time, talent, and resources to this event. We know that the financial gain realized is only part of the benefit we receive. We consider the relationships formed during the last eleven auctions a great blessing to us and to the school. With thankful hearts, Kristy Langemeier, Special Events Coordinator Deana Leonard, Special Events Assistant The mission of Nebraska Christian Schools is to assist the family and church by providing a Christ-centered education, equipping students with a Biblical world-view and encouraging a love relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. The reason for our Benefit Auction is...... Private educational institutions such as Nebraska Christian Schools face the challenge of providing quality education without the help of tax dollars. Nebraska Christian is also not under the shelter of denominational support. Parents of students must bear the majority of the costs involved in educating their students, but tuition alone does not meet all the demands. We are thankful for friends like you who invest in the lives of our students as they are trained to impact the world for Jesus Christ. “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” Proverbs 9:10 NCHS Staff and Faculty Josh Cumpston – Superintendent Michele Boutin Janet Landrigan Harold Cook Deana Leonard Tom Dockweiler Mark Leonard Terry Elge Clay Mankin Stephani Francl Karen Miotke Andy Falk Tara Mundt Ruth Ferris Chuck Myers Dee Flynn Carl Ostrand Mike Flynn Tonya Ostrand Jay Garrison Becky Ritta David Gee Beth Ritta Gil Glad Ed Ritta Chasity Gulbranson Robert Ritta Jody Heuermann Susan Ritta Cheryl Hilderbrand Denise Schreiber Roy Hilderbrand Larry Schreiber Barb Hoff Wendy Schweitzer Larry Hoff Charissa Smith Daurice Hower Cheryl Smith Gib Killion JJ Springer Steve James Janice Stuhmer Rachel Jewell Kerry Stuhmer Tim Jewell Gordon Thiessen Kathy Kirby Patty Welk Kristy Langemeier Verna Zaruba NC School Board Members Greg Epp Kenneth Frederick Matt Green, Vice Chairman Doug Langemeier Paul McHargue, Chairman Chuck Murphy Doug Swanson, Treasurer Lester Unruh, Secretary The Nebraska Christian Schools Foundation “Leaving a legacy that builds lives for eternity.” The option of a Christian education is available today at Nebraska Christian Schools because of people who came before us, saw a need, and worked to meet it. I wonder if they ever imagined the impact this school would have someday. With alumni on every continent of the world except for Antarctica, the school they founded is impacting the world with the message of Jesus Christ. Today, we have the opportunity to leave our own legacy by building a secure financial foundation so that Nebraska Christian Schools can to continue provide a Christ-centered education. The Nebraska Christian Schools Foundation exists to help realize that goal. If you have questions or would like information regarding leaving your legacy through the Nebraska Christian Schools Foundation, please contact me. Your partnership will help secure the option of Christian education for generations to come.
