I bought this because my old Styx song books had been stolen many years back. Those old editions are long out of print and very difficult to obtain now.I was excited when I saw this book on here because it had all the greatest hits back in piano form. I first looked at Dont Let It End. They dumbed it down by transposing it from D flat to C, to make it more playable.Then I took a look at Babe. They left it in the same key, but they changed the notes to play closer to an easy piano version of the song. The only good news here is that after nearly 25 years of not having included the keyboard intro in the sheet music, it has been added here. Thats the only plus I see with this book.Theyve dumbed down nearly every piece from the original sheet music. If youre a piano player, like me, that has no ability to pick out notes, then this is a terrible book for you. If youre good at transposing and finding the missing notes and correcting the changed notes and chords, then this is a decent enough guideline. Otherwise I would say to just download the readily available MIDI versions of these songs and extract the real thing from those.Very disappointing.
