The Los Angeles Times has said of Mercury, “Imagine a combination of Madonna’s feral sensuality with Tina Turner’s lithe energy and put it in a package that possesses the elegance of Catherine Zeta- Jones—and you still haven’t completely described either the full range of the character of Mercury’s stunning impact.” Carnaval Eletrônico will take place in the Howard Gilman Opera House (Peter Jay Sharp building, 30 Lafayette Ave) on October 22 at 7:30pm. Tickets, priced at $20, 30, 35, and 40, may be purchased by calling BAM Ticket Services at 718.636.4100 or by visiting www.bam.org.
