Leather is manufactured through derived skin of dead animals, most often made from cow hide. The process used to tan the skins, is treated with chemicals, many of them pollute land, water and air and can be harmful to workers. knowing this, should be choose to use an alternative or substitute for leather. For this we can go through leather history, its present manufacturing techniques, innovations in leather and what can be best possible substitute for leather in future in this particular research.
