The original building was destroyed following repeated flooding, however the newly re-built pub-restaurant has been impressively restored in its original style - complete with thatched roof. From the attractive gardens there is an exit directly onto the towpath where one can stroll and see the narrow boats passing by. Food served until one hour before closing.
