The Staten Island Advance teamed up with the Staten Island Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants to offer the readers free professional tax advice. The session ran form 5‐8pm. Personally I handled 17 calls.( See write up attached).

Presented 2011 Year End Tax Planning & Income Tax Update on Saturday December 10, 201. This was an informational session presented with Thomas Horan, CPA to the Bay Ridge Aquatic Team.

The Chapter Incentive Award is presented to the AATSP Chapter that has provided outstanding chapter professional development activities for their membership. The 2010 winner of the Chapter Incentive Award is the Metropolitan New York Chapter. The Selection Committee noted that the Metropolitan New York Chapter provides an outstanding number of activities for its members including teacher workshops, numerous lecturers, cultural outings, a day‐long gala and poster and video contests for students.
