Warrior fall 2016 LINCOLNN eLUTHERANw 2015-2016s ANNUAL “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” – Romans 12:2 Dear Warrior Family and Friends, A school year has been completed and new one has already begun! As I look back on the past school year and the new school year of 2016-2017, I realize how blessed Lincoln Lutheran is. God has continued to pour down his blessings for which we are all thankful. It is impossible to list all of the blessings but here are a few to highlight: • two of our students were baptized • successful and fun night at the Gala • finished the fiscal year in the “black” for the 3rd year in a row • the completion of the fully funded Science Education Renovation in July • started the new school year with 330 students – a 10% increase • Lutheran Education Foundation Legacy Society has grown to 39 members I look forward to the new school year and look forward to see what TOMORROW holds for the ministry of Lincoln Lutheran. For more information on the Legacy Society, events, or ways to support the Lincoln Lutheran ministry and make a difference in the lives of young men and women, call 402-467-5404 or email me at [email protected]. What a great opportunity we have as Christians to be a blessing today, tomorrow and forever. The Legacy Society is an honorary group that provides a means by which the Lutheran Education Foundation can say “thank you” during life, for generous intentions and plans established now that are not likely to materialize during a person’s earthly sojourn. Those who have chosen to be recognized have done so for the purpose of encouraging others to discover their legacy of generosity. The Legacy Society donors have a passion for Christian Education. They have designated a gift to the Lutheran Education Foundation in their estate plan through a bequest, life insurance, transfer of real estate or other appropriate planning tool. Anyone who chooses to donate to the Lutheran Education Foundation through either a planned or deferred estate gift is automatically eligible for membership in the Lutheran Education Foundation Legacy Society. The Legacy Society has grown to 39 members.
