On 11/09/2017 officer and force of CID,WB held raid and arrested 02 persons namely (1) Nasib Khan (32) s/o Nasir Khan of Bikrampur,Angerbari, PS Bagharia, District Jamtara Jharkhand, (2) Murshed Khan (23) s/o Moulut Khan of Bikrampur, Angerbari, PS Bagharia, District Jamtara Jharkhand and seized Rs. 86,100/- as FICN and one Motor Cycle having Regn. No. JH-15B – 6457 from their possession.

Six accused persons namely (1) Uttam Mahato, (2) Subodh Mahato, (3) Dasorath Mahato, (4) Nandlal Mahato, (5) Ranjir Kumar Giri, (6) Babu @ Siddhant Singh is sentenced to suffer RI for 14 years and also sentenced to pay fine of Rs. 50,000/- ID to suffer SI for five years by the Ld. Additional Session Judge Durgapur dated 8.9.17. The Case was investigated by CID, WB.

One Shibani Das of SBI Gate Bazar, NJP PS lodged complaint that she was fraud by unknown miscreant through phone call. Getting her Account details the miscreants transferred an amount Rs.20.000/- from her Bank Account. During enquiry, Police could recover and refunded total Rs. 19,890 /- to the complainant’s Account.
