Die erste Single "Witchtripper" feiert dieser Tage als Stream Weltpremiere! Mit der 6-Track-EP "Down IV Part I" veröffentlichen die Southern Metal-Allstars Phil Anselmo (Vocals), Gitarrist Pepper Keenan (Corrosion Of Conformity), Gitarrist Kirk Windstein (Crowbar), Schlagzeuger Jimmy Bowery (Eye Hate God) und Neuzugang Bassist Pat Brudners (Crowbar) die erste von insgesamt vier geplanten EPs. Zeitgleich zum Release begeben sich DOWN auf ausgedehnte US-Tour. "Down IV Part I" wurde im Nodfertu`s Lair Studio in Anselmos Heimatstadt New Orleans selbst produziert und aufgenommen. Einmal mehr präsentieren sich die schwergewichtigen Metal-Ikonen von ihrer wuchtigsten Seite: Mit messerscharfen Riffs, hämmernden Drums und nicht zuletzt Phil Anselmos unverwechselbarem Gesang melden sich Down in alter, neuer Stärke zurück! Düster, unberechenbar, gefährlich und zu allem entschlossen - mit anderen Worten: 110 Prozent DOWN! !Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass unsere Fans das neue Zeug lieben werden", erklärt Anselmo. Metallica also invited many special guests relevant to their 30 years to the stage to perform with them.
