Slice squash in half horizontally. Scrap out seeds. Place one teaspoon of butter or margarine in center of each half. Oven time! Bake • 3 T butter or margarine until tender.

Remove from oven, serve immediately or wrap in foil and reheat when ready Directions: to serve. • 6 parsnips • 1 medium rutabaga • 4 medium turnips • 3 C water • 1 T oil • 1 package onion soup mix • 2 T butter Directions: Directions: Preheat oven to 350° *Peel and cut rutabaga into large cubes. Cook until very tender. Drain, mash and slather with butter. Rinse and peel both veggies. Cut into bite sized chunks, slide chunks into baking dish. Drizzle veggies with oil, sprinkle on soup mix.
