@ItchenSport If you want to take your rugby to the next level, ltchen Sixth Form College is the perfect place to develop your skills whilst also gaining the qualificationsyou need to progress into higher education or employment.

We have links with Eastleigh Rugby Football Club and Southampton Solent University. We also have regular support from the Rugby Football Union, all of which provides our players with fantastic opportunities to develop their rugby ability. During his time at ltchen, Dan studied A Level Biology, Geography and Environmental Studies, as well as playing for the Rugby Team. He also played for Trojans RFC and represented the Hampshire U17 side.

Whilst at ltchen, Sam studied BTEC Sport (Triple Award) and also undertook fitness instructing qualifications. He was also a star player for the college's rugby team and played for Trojans RFC at club level.

Sam also earned the reputation of a rugby sevens specialist and trained with the Ultimate Rugby 7s Academy which aims to prepare players for international 7s tournaments. Reasons to Choose Itchen Sixth Form College

As an RFU selected Focus College, the core values of rugby are always paramount, rewarding fair play and sportsmanship. Emphasis is placed on incorporating the RFU ‘CARDS’ approach to development. This improves Creativity, Awareness, Resilience, Decision-making and Self- organisation in contact and non-contact based skill development sessions. Sessions include rugby-specific strength & conditioning programmes and advice from a qualified UKSCA coach, video analysis, team building and leadership activities.
