Khutsong ext 5 and Tsitsiboga primary schools Impact of grant on communities • Community meeting place. • Social cohesion between the mainstream and deaf schools. • It is also in many communities the only place where community members can make photocopies of their Identity documents and CVs. • The impact that the libraries have on learners in support of their endeavours to learn, must never be underestimated as there are no school libraries in most of the communities. • Communities connect to the internet through WI-FI • Reading programmes for communities (from pregnant mothers, new born babies, ECDs, correctional centres and the elderly. • Safe place within the community. • Business development.
