Pensacola State College Pensacola State College Is Located on Florida’S Beautiful Gulf Coast Pensacola State College Pensacola State College is located on Florida’s beautiful Gulf Coast. Pensacola State College is one of 28 public colleges in the Florida College System committed to affordable, open access to educational opportunities. The College offers baccalaureate and associate degrees, career oriented certificates, college preparatory classes, adult education, GED preparation, and standard high school diplomas. The Human Resources Office is accepting applications for the following professional position within WSRE-TV (PBS for the Gulf Coast): MANAGER, DONOR SERVICES, WSRE - JOB #2272 The Manager, Donor Services position is a full-time professional position. The Manager, Donor Services will manage WSRE’s membership function including donor solicitation/acquisition programs – on air, direct mail, telemarketing, and community membership outreach programs; develop and execute successful annual giving and sustainer giving programs; manage high-level computerized donor database system; use data to analyze giving metrics; develop strategies for membership acquisition and retention to meet departmental revenue goals; recruit and train volunteers to assist with membership drives; and supervise departmental staff. Additional duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning and executing all on-air membership festivals; working with programming consultants; making recommendations for scheduling of pledge programs; selecting and scheduling talent for live pledge programming; recruiting manpower to answer pledge calls during membership festivals; working closely with production to create effective on-air fundraising support and membership drives; interacting with donors, members, and volunteers on a regular basis during and between pledge drives; and supervising account management of database and donor relations. In addition, the Manager, Donor Services may be required to work irregular hours during pledge periods and special event campaigns. This position reports to the Director, Development, WSRE. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree and two years related experience in membership/donor or customer account research, acquisition, retention, and/or account management OR graduation from high school or GED and six years’ related experience in membership/donor or customer account research, acquisition, retention, and/or account management may substitute for the required degree and work experience. Successful results of a criminal background check are required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer high level of aptitude and attitude for innovative fundraising efforts, high level of skill managing computerized database operations, including data analysis for reporting and decision making; excellent customer service skills; extensive experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel. SALARY RANGE: $32,500.00 - $40,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable. However, the college does not generally hire at the top of the range.) FRINGE BENEFITS: The value of the benefits package provided by the college is nearly 39% of the base salary and includes major medical insurance, life insurance and Florida retirement contributions. Supplemental life, dental, vision, and disability insurance are available at group rates. Other benefits offered include tuition waivers, educational opportunities, and paid sick and annual leave.     CCNUM College Name Status Justification 1 Eastern Florida Adjusted The continued impact of the Covid-19 pandemic makes predicting enrollment with certainty challenging. The data related to high school graduate projections and State College Brevard County population projections provided by the State to Eastern Florida State College (EFSC) have been reviewed carefully in addition to internal data and planned opening of academic program to adjust the State FEP/COFTE projections. The primary reason for adjustments is to account for upper division projections by the Division of Florida Colleges (DFC) that appear to be lower than we anticipate, to account for projected population and high school graduation increases, and efforts to re-engage recent high school graduates who have been more reluctant to start out their college careers amid the uncertainty of the pandemic. EFSC has increased upper division enrollment by more than 10% each of the last three years and we project that increases over the next few years will continue to be strong. This year will mark the opening of the fifth bachelor’s degree program at EFSC which we anticipate will contribute to the continued growth in upper division enrollment. With the exception of RY 2022, the DFC has projected decline in upper division enrollment by more than 2% each year. In addition to this increase adjustment, there are number of factors that in a normal year would support an increase in FTE projected over the DFC projections for the other credit types in the model. These aspects include: • Strong increases in enrollment in baccalaureate programs contributing to some lower division enrollment • Increases in Brevard County high school graduates • Brevard County population increases in the 18-24- and 25-39-year age group However, in the upcoming year we acknowledge that the pandemic continues to cause uncertainty with programs and courses that rely heavily on face-to-face instruction such as our vocational programs and developmental education.
