MANAGER, DONOR SERVICES, WSRE - JOB #2272 The Manager, Donor Services position is a full-time professional position. The Manager, Donor Services will manage WSRE’s membership function including donor solicitation/acquisition programs – on air, direct mail, telemarketing, and community membership outreach programs; develop and execute successful annual giving and sustainer giving programs; manage high-level computerized donor database system; use data to analyze giving metrics; develop strategies for membership acquisition and retention to meet departmental revenue goals; recruit and train volunteers to assist with membership drives; and supervise departmental staff. Additional duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning and executing all on-air membership festivals; working with programming consultants; making recommendations for scheduling of pledge programs; selecting and scheduling talent for live pledge programming; recruiting manpower to answer pledge calls during membership festivals; working closely with production to create effective on-air fundraising support and membership drives; interacting with donors, members, and volunteers on a regular basis during and between pledge drives; and supervising account management of database and donor relations. In addition, the Manager, Donor Services may be required to work irregular hours during pledge periods and special event campaigns. This position reports to the Director, Development, WSRE.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree and two years related experience in membership/donor or customer account research, acquisition, retention, and/or account management OR graduation from high school or GED and six years’ related experience in membership/donor or customer account research, acquisition, retention, and/or account management may substitute for the required degree and work experience. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer high level of aptitude and attitude for innovative fundraising efforts, high level of skill managing computerized database operations, including data analysis for reporting and decision making; excellent customer service skills; extensive experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel.

SALARY RANGE: $32,500.00 - $40,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable. However, the college does not generally hire at the top of the range.)
