New faunistic data of interest about the genera Agonopterix Hübner, [1825] 1816, and Depressaria Haworth, 1811, in the Iberian peninsula and the Balearic islands (Lepidoptera: De- pressariidae, Depressariinae). The authors announce new sightings of 28 species in total from the Depressariidae family (genera Agonopterix and Depressaria) which tells us more of their distribution area in the Iberian peninsula and the Balearic islands. Two of them –Agonopterix conterminella (Zeller, 1839) and Agonopterix putridella (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775)– are new to the Iberian peninsula, and three –Agonopterix rutana (Fabricius, 1794), Depressaria pseudobadiella Nel, 2011, and Depressaria discipunctella Herrich-Schäffer, 1865– have been found for the first time in the Balearic islands. Nine new species have been found in Catalonia. Resum. Els autors donen a conèixer noves citacions d’un total de 28 espècies de la família Depressarii- dae (gèneres Agonopterix i Depressaria) que amplien el coneixement de la seva àrea de distribució a la península Ibèrica i les Balears. Dues –Agonopterix conterminella (Zeller, 1839) i Agonopterix putridella (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775)– són noves per a la península Ibèrica, i tres –Agonopterix rutana (Fa- bricius, 1794), Depressaria pseudobadiella Nel, 2011, i Depressaria discipunctella Herrich-Schäffer, 1865– han estat trobades per primera vegada a les illes Balears. Nou espècies han resultat ser noves per a Catalunya. Key words: Agonopterix, Depressaria, faunistics, Iberian Peninsula. Introducció La subfamília Depressariinae es caracteritza per una sistemàtica complexa i ha estat inclosa successivament dins les famílies Oecophoridae, Elachistidae i Depressariidae sensu lato, família, aquesta última, que és l’acceptada pels autors d’aquest article. Les dades aportades se centren en els dos gèneres més rics en espècies dels cinc que con- formen la subfamília Depressariinae: Agonopterix Hübner, [1825] 1816, i Depressaria Haworth, 1811. Butll. Soc. Cat. Lep., 111 11 Segons Buchner & Karsholt (2019), el gènere Agonopterix comprèn 95 espècies a Europa, unes 130 a l’àrea holàrtica i unes 250 a escala mundial, mentre que Depressa- ria en té 64 a Europa, unes 130 dins l’àrea holàrtica i al voltant de 150 repartides arreu del món. Són, doncs, dos gèneres amb una elevada riquesa d’espècies, dins dels quals se’n continuen descrivint de noves, com, per exemple, Depressaria sarahae Gastón & Vives, 2017; Agonopterix carduncelli Corley, 2017; Depressaria villosae Corley & Buchner, 2018; Agonopterix olusatri Buchner & Corley, 2019, i Depressaria infernella Corley & Buchner, 2019. Els gèneres Agonopterix i Depressaria inclouen algunes espècies de fàcil identifi- cació, però moltes són morfològicament molt semblants entre si, i cal fer-ne l’estudi genitàlic per poder-les determinar, fet que ha propiciat que en una bona part de les coŀ- leccions estiguin pendents de classificació. Les femelles, tot i estudiant-ne l’estructura genitàlica, són d’una dificultat enorme a l’hora de determinar-les. Recentment, Buchner & Šumpich (2018) han actualitzat la llista de les espècies dels dos gèneres anteriors esmentades a la península Ibèrica. Indiquen un total de 45 espècies d’Agonopterix i 37 de Depressaria. Amb la troballa d’A. putridella i A. con- terminella, i amb la recent descripció d’A. olusatri, la llista anterior s’ha d’actualitzar augmentant-la en tres espècies més. Material i mètodes En la seva major part, els individus estudiats estan dipositats a les coŀleccions dels autors, que els han capturat al llarg dels anys mitjançant l’ús de trampes de llum actíni- ca model Heath (6W i 8W) i llum de càtode freda, alimentades totes per bateries de 12 V. També s’ha utilitzat una combinació d’una làmpara de vapor de mercuri (125 W) i llum mixta (160 W), alimentades totes dues per un grup electrogen. També s’ha revisat la coŀlecció d’Arcadi Cervelló i uns quants exemplars dipositats al Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona. Per a la dissecció i preparació de la genitàlia s’ha seguit Robinson (1976), amb modificacions. Les fotos de les genitàlies han estat preses amb un microscopi Euromex sèrie Oxion i una càmera digital Nikon D80 amb una lent DX55. Les fotos dels imagos s’han fet amb una càmera digital Nikon D90 amb una lent DX105 i una càmera Canon PowerShot A640. S’ha utilitzat Adobe Photoshop © per a l’edició de les iŀlustracions. De Catalunya havia estat citada amb anterioritat de les Planes de Son i la Mata de València, Pallars Sobirà (Dantart et al. 2010); d’Alinyà, Alt Urgell (Vallhonrat et al. 2005), i del Cadí-Moixeró, Alt Urgell (Dantart 2014). Citada recentment de Te- rol (Buchner & Šumpich 2018) i coneguda també del nord de Portugal (Corley et al. 2007). Agonopterix conterminella (Zeller, 1839) (Fig. 2) Material estudiat. Aragó. Terol: Camí forestal de Moscardón a El Vallecillo, serra d’Albarrasí (30TXK2359, 1.567 m), 1{, 12.IX.2012 (R. Macià leg., J. Ylla det & col.; prep. gen. JY4324). Espècie sovint confosa amb A. liturosa, de la qual és molt difícil diferenciar-la a través de les estructures genitàliques. Buchner & Šumpich (2020) presenten una taula diferenciadora d’aquestes dues espècies a partir de quatre trets estructurals dels andro- pigis que confirmen la dificultat que s’acaba de comentar. És, doncs, la morfologia dels imagos el que permet la diferenciació. Concretament, A. conterminella té les tègules del mateix color que el tòrax (marró fosc pàŀlid), mentre que A. liturosa les té d’un color diferent del tòrax (marró pàŀlid a violaci fosc) ( M. Corley com. pers.). A favor de la validesa de la identitat específica de totes dues espècies hi ha el fet que A. liturosa s’alimenta d’Hypericum sp. i és de distribució paleàrtica, mentre que A. con- terminella ho fa exclusivament de Salix sp. i és de distribució holàrtica. A més, en un estudi molecular molt recent, en l’arbre de màxima probabilitat obtingut, els dos tàxons queden prou separats per mantenir el seu estatus específic (Buchner & Šumpich 2020). Aquesta és la primera cita d’A. conterminella per a la península Ibèrica. Està àm- pliament repartida pel centre i el nord d’Europa, des de França fins a Rússia, i s’estén també cap a Sibèria. És probable que la colònia detectada al sistema Ibèric sigui de les més meridionals d’Europa i estigui completament aïllada. La citació més propera a l’indicada aquí és la de la localitat d’Eina (Alta Cerdanya), on es van trobar erugues que s’alimentaven de Salix viminalis i Salix caprea (S. Peslier, com. pers.). The identification is notoriously difficult. Therefore high quality illustrations of the male and female genitalia are provided. A revision of the Dutch material proved that A. atomella and A. capreolella have to be removed from the Dutch list, whereas A. oinochra is new to the Dutch fauna. Several species have disappeared from the Netherlands, of which Agonopterix laterella is the most conspicuous. The caterpillar lives on cornflower, a beautiful blue flower that once gave colour to the Dutch agricul- tural landscape. Now it has almost disappeared, taking Agonopterix laterella along in its fall.     Silva Gabreta vol. 17 (2-3) p. 83–132 Vimperk, 2011 Buterflies and moths (Lepidoptera) of the Blanice National Nature Monument (Bohemian Forest, Czech Republic) Jan Šumpich CZ-58261 Česká Bělá 212, Czech Republic [email protected] Abstract This paper summarises data on butterflies and moths occurring in the Blanice National Nature Monument (NNM) including its buffer zone (Bohemian Forest, Šumava Protected Landscape Area, southern Bohe- mia). Most of the presented data were gathered during surveys carried out by the author in 2008–2009. Further data, spanning the period 1972–2009, were kindly provided by other lepidopterologists. In addition, all published data have also been included in the study. In 2008 the author focused mainly on wetland habitats in the Blanice River floodplain, moving in 2009 to mountain coniferous forests in the NNM’s buffer zone. In total, 710 moth species are presented in the paper together with phenological data, where known, and the exact location of their records. Predominant habitat types are characterized by the lepidop- teran communities recorded therein. High species diversity was observed in wetland habitats near the Blanice River and the occurrence of many typical wetland species was confirmed there, e.g., Sterrhopterix standfussi (Wocke, 1851), Epermenia falciformis (Haworth, 1828), Orthonama vittata (Borkhausen, 1794), or Hypenodes humidalis Doubleday, 1850. Species-rich lepidopteran fauna of mountain forests in the buff- er zone were typified by Nemapogon picarellus (Clerck, 1759), Ypsolopha nemorella (Linnaeus, 1758), Anchinia daphnella (Dennis & Schiffermüller, 1775), Caryocolum klosi (Rebel, 1917), C. cassellum (Walk- er, 1864), Epinotia pusillana (Peyerimhoff, 1863), Elophos vittarius (Thunberg, 1788), Entephria infidaria (La Harpe, 1853), Perizoma taeniatum (Stephens, 1831), Phlogophora scita (Hübner, 1790), or Xestia colli- na (Boisduval, 1840).
