Fisher and Bishop Arturo Cepeda at three special Masses this year. The final Mass was celebrated this past Thursday evening. Please join us in praying for the Confirmandi listed below, as they celebrated the Sacrament of Confirma- tion on May 13th. The teens themselves are encouraged to pray in thanksgiving for the promised outpouring of the Holy Spirit that requires only their cooperation and their freely given “yes” to God. ~ Andrew Cipolla, St. Anastasia Youth Minister & Confirmation Coordinator Congratulations Confirmation Class of 2020-21 Claire Balintfy Kevin Hartwell Carly McConnell Anastasia Ballios Rachel Holle Joseph Mendrick Lindsay Burke Jack Hotts Noah Miller Emma Cruz Sarah House Maria Luiza Nogueira Sonia De Donno Quiroz Joshua Lalik Stephen Shea Sara de la Fuente Serrano Ava Lauder Ariella Sofikitis Dana Garcia Perez Nicholas Lavallee Jack Svoboda Yanni Zavala Teen Ministry (High School Teens) Happy almost Summer! Although this year has been different from many, this year has still been great for our Teen Ministry especially since Teen Council has decided to continue our Teen program throughout the year. Teen Room Tuesdays, BASIC (Brothers & Sisters in Christ), SIC (Sisters In Christ), and B&B (Bibles and Bros) are continuing while VBS & Ministry Week are starting up later in Summer. One event we always host is the Teen Input Night. It's a night for you to ask questions about the faith anonymously and for future BASIC plan- ning. From “Why do bad things happen to good people?” to “What does the pope do?”, BASIC uses this night to brainstorm future topics. This also includes ideas such as Christmas, Hallow- een, and Thanksgiving celebrations. Even if you don't have questions, BASIC is an amazing place to hang out with others, pray, and meet some great friends. God bless, Emma Sketch EVERYDAY STEWARDSHIP - RECOGNIZE GOD IN YOUR ORDINARY MOMENTS There’s No Place Like Home Where do you get the best night’s sleep? For me, it’s in my own bed. I don’t even really know why. There’s something about the texture of the sheets, the groove I’ve worn in the pillow. The mattress seems to recognize my shape. I’ve got a job that sees me traveling often and I’ve stayed in plenty of nice places. But there’s just no sleep like the sleep you get at home. There’s a feeling that we have when we’re at home.
