Version 2.0 / Status 21 December 2020 Basis: Protection concept Covid-19 Swiss-Ski for training operations as well as cross-country skiing, Nordic combined, ski jumping, biathlon valid from 2 November 2020, protection Concept Cross-Country Skiing Switzerland valid from 1 December 2020 (This protection concept will be continuously adapted to the new regulations and is not final) INTRODUCTION The following protection concept has been drawn up by Obergoms Tourismus AG (OTAG) and describes the requirements for the operation of the Goms cross-country ski trail in winter 2020/21. This protection concept is valid until revoked or until the publication of a new version. The OTAG and Loipe Goms team ensure compliance with the protection concept in the sense of personal responsibility. AIM OF THE MEASURES The aim of the measures is to protect runners, visitors, locals, owners of second homes and staff from infection by the coronavirus. "STOP principle" The STOP principle explains the order in which protective measures should be taken. GENERAL RULES • Symptoms Only go healthy and symptom-free on the cross-country skiing trail Goms • Obligation to wear a mask In the indoor area or if the distance can not be kept • Distance Keep a distance of 1.5 metres • Hygiene rules of the Thoroughly wash and disinfect hands Federal Office of Public Health (BAG) • Groupes Groups must not be larger than 5 persons • Contact Tracing «SwissCovid» App EMPLOYEES OF THE GOMS CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING TRAIL All employees of the Loipe Goms are equipped with masks, disposable gloves and disinfectant. Masks are mandatory. The masks are changed every four hours (note the correct wearing of the masks). Disposable gloves must be worn when cleaning, and disposable gloves are recommended when collecting cash. Regular and thorough hand washing and disinfecting is mandatory. Work clothes (jackets) must be laundered regularly. SKI TRAIL SALES POINTS / CLOAKROOMS All points of sale are equipped with disinfectant. The cloakrooms and toilets are open. The existing FOPH guidelines apply in the cloakrooms. All rooms are labelled with the appropriate maximum number of persons. The showers are closed. Hair dryers and hand dryers with hot air are not in use. V-fold drying towels are reinstalled in all toilets. At all points of sale, staff are protected by Plexiglas screens. Cashless payment is possible at all points of sale. Credit cards (American Express, Visa, Mastercard) and all EC cards are accepted. It is now also possible to pay with Twint. • Niederwald: Cross-country skiing ticket sales in the car park at Ritz station. Cloakrooms with lockers in the station building (shower is locked). • Münster: Rescue will be moved to the Nordic Centre. • Nordic Centre: Rescue with 2 persons on duty. In the event of a rescue operation in the peak season, the sales point will continue to be run by a flying checker. • Oberwald: Additional sales point in front of the bridge • Opening hours of the new sales points: Fair weather weekends, between Christmas and New Year, and February (times are weather and season dependent). • Additional outdoor lockers • Additional toilets (Toi Toi) ADJUSTMENTS TO CROSS-COUNTRY SKI TRAILS AND WINTER HIKING TRAIL • The routing of the cross-country ski trail Rottenloipe, Hillside cross-country ski trail will be carried out behind the cross-country ski trail house in Oberwald. The hiking trail will be routed in front of the cross-country skiing house. This will create more space and separate pedestrians from skiers. • The cross-country ski trail will follow the original track. • The hiking trail to Trützibach is routed to the right of the cross-country ski trail - the trail comes closer to the village of Geschinen. • Adaptation of the Löwengadmen, Reckingen trail route • Extension of the cross-country ski trail Sonnenloipe from Obergesteln to Oberwald. Access via Oberwald railway station or Obergesteln railway station. • New trail (Funloipe) between Geschinen and Ulrichen ADDITIONAL PARKING SPACE We assume that guests will increasingly arrive by private vehicle. For this reason, the Goms cross-country skiing trail is offering an additional parking space at the Ulrichen airfield free of charge this winter. The municipalities of Goms and Obergoms offer the following additional parking spaces: Municipality of Goms Municipality of Obergoms COVID - ENGELS From Saturday, 19 December 2020, "Covid angels" will be on duty on the Goms cross-country ski run. Their task is to direct the flow of visitors and to control the observance of the hygiene and distance rules. The aim is to sensitise the runners and to avoid crowds. The inspectors have the right to confiscate the cross-country skiing ticket and to issue a cross- country skiing ban in the event of a gross violation of the rules. What is considered as a gross violation? • Repeated refusal to comply with the measures. Even after friendly advice from the "Covid - angels" or the cross-country skiing staff. • Refusal to wear a mask • Groups of more than 5 persons • Not respecting the allowed number of persons in closed rooms We ask everyone to respect the concept and to inform the guests accordingly.
